Kion held her close, lifting her up slightly so that he could carry her back to his home. When they had all entered, he shut the door, bolting it tightly.
"From what I could gather, your father isn't getting this alliance with the Earth Kingdom fast enough."

Riksha paced, looking worried. "Because he's too busy whoring," she spat, just as Moko squawked as he looked out the window. "Get away from there!" The flying lemur listened.

Kion shook his head. "Isn't there a war-meeting coming up tomorrow morning? The soldiers around the palace will handle the crowd well enough, and then me and my subordinates will attend this meeting. I'm sure the General will agree when I say that your father needs to get his ass in gear."

Riksha nodded absently, not really hearing the love of her life.
This wasn't how things were supposed to be. Since Avatar Aang, the world was supposed to stay peaceful, and now, that peace is falling apart.
