Earth Kingdom::

The sun had just risen above the predominate height of the large walls surrounding Ba Sing Se, painting the sky a brilliant golden hue as dawn commenced. Blue jays sang their songs, fluttering from trees and the palace roof as they carried on about their morning chorus.
It was at this particular hour, just before the sky regained its natural blue colour, that Kekoi Tsume, esteemed Earth King and ruler over the large nation known as the Earth Kingdom, had chosen to observe his kingdom from the balcony of his room. His wife, to his knowledge, was still asleep, and so this allowed the man plenty of time to think on things himself.
It was a difficult time, the Fire Nation once again pressing that they join as one land, and elect one King over the entirety of the territory. Kekoi was against such an option, but to tell this to the Firelord had gotten him nowhere before. He feared a war would soon break out, killing innocents and exhausting his forces. But, on the other hand, he had faith. The Avatar was out there, somewhere, doing whatever it was that Avatars did, and his Dai Li would suffice until the Avatar appeared. He just needed to keep reminding himself that everything would turn out alright.

Water Tribe::

Col exhaled as he stared out across the expanse of ocean. It was a quiet time of day, the perfect opportunity to do what little practice he could accomplish without being disturbed. Not only did he work on whatever water-bending he knew, but he also worked on his hunting, fishing, and fighting.
Today, however, was different. While waiting for his sister, as they were normally inseparable, he sat near the edge of the ice, leaning on his spear while thoughtfully imagining what it would be like to travel away from the South Pole, and see the rest of the world. Maybe, one of these days, he and his sister would venture to the Earth Kingdom, or to the Air Temples, and see what else lay out there that they had yet to discover.

Kin-Yuan awoke to the singing of birds and the bustle of the city outside of Ba Sing Se. She looked out of her window; it was a beautiful day, but there were many things that could ruin it.
The Fire Nation had still been in war with them for a while now, and since the Earth Kingdom was at a weak point, Kin-Yuan was needed most.
She hopped out of bed and began to walk into one of the large immense hallways of the palace. The Dai Li (or is it lee?) were standing guard as usual, and Kin-Yuan gave a brief nod to each of them as they saluted her. She wondered where Kekoi was at this hour. It wasn't that early in the morning, but he was usually out and about before she was.
The hallways echoed with her footsteps as she turned the corner, still looking for him while she was on her way to breakfast. She needed to speak with Kekoi about the Dai Li and what their next plans were. Even though Kin-Yuan was a woman, she was also a woman of war. Being raised in the palace, she had had plenty of time to be educated in the war strategy, and she knew her facts. Her older sister, Ray-Tahn, had recently passed away, making Kin-Yuan next in line.
She was thinking of war plans when she finally reached the hall where breakfast was served. Still no sign of Kekoi.

Air Temple::

Jiang Tsin walked outside of the Western Air Temple. Outside was teeming with life; birds chirping, benders training, and Sky Bison flying about. A regular day of the Western Air Temple.
He walked over near the fountain in the center of the Temple. The water was flowing and seemed so calm. If only the world was like this fountain, he thought, so quiet and peaceful.

Kekoi was soon to follow into the banquet hall, smiling when he took notice of Kin-Yuan. His steps took him to her side, his strong arms wrapping around her person as he leaned in to kiss her cheek. "Good morning."

[Holly(=]

"Good morning to you too." She smiled as she looked up into his eyes.

[Rogue of Night]

"You're thinking about the war again, aren't you?" Kekoi asked inquiringly.

[Holly(=]

"Slightly." She turned her face away from his. "I'm just worried about the upcoming meeting. I'm afraid that many of our Dai Li have different views than us." She frowned.

[Rogue of Night]

"I'm sure there's nothing to worry about, my pet," Kekoi assured, releasing her so he could find something to eat.

[Holly(=]

Kin-Yuan loved Kekoi. He always reassured her in times of trouble. She followed him to the table, awaiting the servants.

ooc: Should they have a child do you think?

bic: The morning meal passed contently, and once the food and servants had been dismissed, Kekoi stood to lead his wife out into the gardens. It was a habit of his, and he liked to think it soothed her nerves.

Ooc:: hmm. Maybe when other ppl start rping (like maybe Rosie) could rp him/her

Bic:: Kin-Yuan smiled as Kekoi let her lead the way into the gardens. When they were about in the center of the immense, beautiful gardens, Kin-Yuan said, "So. What's your plan for the war meeting?" she inquired. She was also wondering if he was going to be on the front lines with her. Of course Kin-Yuan would be on the front lines, being a master earthbender, and she wanted her spouse with her there.

ooc: Maybeh, yeah.

bic: "The Firelord cannot push us to do what we don't want to do. I will decline his demands again, but war will surely be upon us then," Kekoi replied solemnly.

[Holly(=]

"I know. Being royalty my whole life, I've learned that the Fire Nation is nothing but trouble." she folded her hands in her lap as she sat on the edge of one of the fountains. "But if there is to be war... Would you fight?"

"If it was necessary, yes," Kekoi responded. "To protect our kingdom, and our people."

Kin-Yuan smiled. "I'll be front lines no matter what."
