The copper-haired man glanced over at Jane, blinking. "Nothing is wrong," he assured her gently.

She nodded, though seemed unconvinced, before shifting her attention back to their female cousin. Catherine shook her head, glancing out the other window. She didn't want to ask Mary about what was being spoken, for fear of angering the woman in the enclosed space.

Mary was staring out the window almost moodily, watching as the small entourage formed a circle around their carriage as they continued on. The rides were always the most painful part of anything, and as elaborate as the carriage was, she felt too enclosed. Her breathing quickened, but she lifted her hand to her pale throat and managed to calm herself, though her eyes darted back and forth every now and then, and she never lost the sudden tense expression in her shoulders.

"Are you alright?" Jane inquired upon noticing her cousin's rigidity. "You don't look very well." Catherine glanced at Mary at this inquiry, nodding in agreement with her sister. "Not well at all."

"I'm fine," Mary snapped, shifted in her seat as she looked across the carriage at her two cousins. But her body language disagreed with her statement, and although she didn't do anything so undignified as fidget, it was obvious she was trying not to. Finally, about five hours into the trip, she snapped. "Stop the carriage, driver!" She hissed, her voice snapping like a whip. As a result, the carriage halted instantly, and before anyone could blink, she had unlatched the door and stepped out, taking in deep breaths as Robert slid off his mount. "Christ, Mary, why didn't you say anything?" The copper-haired man demanded, sounding displeased as he knelt by his half-sister. "Don't use the Lord's name in vain!" Mary snapped.

Catherine stepped out after her, sighing lightly. "Claustrophobic, I see." Jane followed, glad for the time to stretch her legs, and glanced around the area uneasily. "Will we be here for long?"

Mary hissed again, but Robert just pulled her to her feet, making sure she was all right. "No; an hour at the most," he replied.

"It's nothing to be ashamed of," Catherine assured with a worried expression on her pretty features. Jane nodded, both in answer to Robert and agreement with her sister.

"I'm not... insane," Mary snapped defiantly as Robert trailed a finger down her neck, an action that always, always managed to calm her.

"She didn't say you were," Jane put in meekly. "We're just worried about you."

"I don't need your pity," Mary retorted sharply, but Robert stroked her neck again, and she relaxed instantly, very against her will.
ooc;; Gotta go, sorry D: Might be back later.

ooc: It's okay! Bye Yami~
bic: Catherine and Jane resorted to just shutting up, despite what they were feeling was not pity, not in the least.

ooc;; I think this roleplay is going to be short - like, a short plot, y'know? Still not sure.
bic;; "Why don't you ride Magdalene, hmm?" Robert cooed softly. "It'll help you breathe." "Damnit, Robert, I'm not a child!" "You wouldn't object if they weren't here," came the simple reply.

ooc: For now anyway. There can be more plots that could enter later on, or when this one is over, just to start a new board for the new plot.
bic: Catherine gave a resigned sigh before turning toward the road. "Come along, Jane. We'll stretch our legs while Mary recomposes herself." Jane was not one to argue, and had often been criticized for her easy nature. She was never able to play coy when they were taught to, and so would most likely succumb to the harshness of Court like a servant. The girl followed her elder sister obediently and quietly.

bic;; "Don't go too far, miladies," one of the guards called. "There are bandits around."
