Col shrugged. "Does it matter?"

ooc; Since no one decided to claim the Fire Lord, I'll just be him for now x) Someone can take him when they want, but for our purposes I'll use him.
bic; The Fire Lord stood before Kion, tall and broad. He looked the other man in the eye, clearly disgusted. "My daughter is missing," he growled. "Someone informed me that you were the last one with her."

ooc: Okey dokey ^^
bic: Kion furrowed his brow, his mind trying to run through all the different people who would tell the man. "Your daughter is safe, milord. She managed to get caught up in the riots last night, and so I took her in to make sure she was alright. We wouldn't want your lineage ending so abruptly because of your own people's uprising," he told him darkly.

Col just shook his head as he stood, starting to gather their belongings. "It's a long walk to the city. We should get moving."

Riksha's breath caught in her throat as she stayed around the corner, out of sight. She had but a blanket wrapped around her otherwise bare body.
The Fire Lord nodded. "Bring her to me once she awakens, then," he said coldly.

Kion bowed at the waist. "I will, sire. I also have some things to discuss with you when I arrive later, if you don't mind."

The Fire Lord stared at the young man before nodding slightly. "As you wish," he said in a commanding tone before turning on his heel, and heading back to his castle.
Riksha's breath held. She knew that her father respected Kion, but it still scared her when he was around him.

Kion closed the door behind him, and then turned around to go check on his lover. When he found her, he smiled in that way that was cheeky yet arrogant all at once. "That went well, hm?"

Riksha looked at him like he was crazy. "You're scary good at lying," she mumbled.

Kion blinked. "To your father, yes. But remember the last time I tried lying to you? It was about my last leave of absence, remember? I tried to convince you I would be gone for merely a few weeks, when you could tell just by looking at me that it would be longer."

Riksha smiled a bit. "Thats because you don't want to lie to me. Or like it."

"That...is very true," Kion agreed, smiling as well.

Riksha wrapped her arms around him, their bodies pressing together the only thing holding the bed sheet up. "Take me with you," she whispered, referring to the trip.

"I want to. I want to so badly, Ri'sha," Kion murmured to her, kissing the top of her head after enveloping her in his own arms, which were strong and muscular from rigorous training. "I speak to your father when we arrive at the palace."
