Ethan sighed, "Well shucks. I can cross this off my list, now I suppose." Ethan added, putting his wand into his pocket.
:: OOC :: IS it the begining of the school year?

ooc;; Yes, why?
bic;; Robin grinned smugly. "What, hoping for a longer effect so she'd permit you in her presence long enough for you to woo her?"

:: OOC :: So I know what the weather is like outside the castle. And if they had any x-mas stuff up orsomething.
:: BIC :: "Ehh . . . not quite, but plausable. Maybe she won't act like she has a big schadobie stuck up her butt for an hour or so. Anywho, I must go down to Hagrid's hut (Hagrid should still be at school according to the epilogue of DH I believe). I need to take some notes on my niffler's social habits. Toodles." Ethan said as he trotted out of the hall.

In the early hours of the morning, Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry was actually pleasantly silent. To Kendall, who was still rather sore about her evident "Happy Spell" yesterday, it was the perfect time to work on her Charms assignment, for she had neglected to do so yesterday, much to her chagrin. Now, tucked away in one of the windows of the astronomy tower, she felt very relaxed. In fact, she wasn't even dressed as properly as usual - she wore a pair of baggy navy sweats that, instead of falling out in a bell-like fashion, enclosed her ankle snugly, and she wore a loose navy zip-up hoodie over a tight white tank top, and her hair, still slightly damp and curly from her morning shower, hung down her back and over her shoulders as she scribbled away with her quill. Yes, she did love Saturdays so.

Ethan's eyes twitched awake. He was in the Ravenclaw common room, sitting in a large blue stuffed chair. Cluttered around him was his niffler research and a few books. Looks like he fell asleep working again. Ethan swept the mess off of him into a neat pile on the side table. He looked aorund and saw he was the only one in the Ravenclaw tower. The sun was just rising over the scottish mountains.
"Too early to be up on a weekend." he complained to himself. He gathered up his things, and trudged up to his dorms to put them away and get dressed.

"uhhh this is so confusing" kristen moaned to herself. She closed her text book, and stood up from bed. She walked the halls of Hogwartsbored trying to think of something to do.

"How was it last night?" Charon asked, his tone neutral as he moved briskly through the Hufflepuff halls, trying to avoid being seen. After all, it wouldn't do for a seventh-year Slytherin to be wandering another house. Beside him, his thirteen-year-old Hufflepuff brother, Felix, smiled shyly. "It was all right," he said at last. "No different than usual. Lonely, I suppose."

As Ethan pulled his clothes on for the day he noticed it was almost seven o'clock. Breakfast would be open, so he decided to go downstairs and have an early start on his Saturday. He put in his contacts, and headed to the bathrooms. Ethan brushed his teeth, and then did his hair (the trademark swipe to the side), and swung his bag over his shoulder. Time for some food now!
Ethan walked through the mostly silent halls and headed down the grand staircase, hot food filled his nose with their fumes. The new sun shown bright threw the stained glass windows of the castle. Ethan could tell it was going to be a nice warm day.

"Believe me," Charlotte murmured with a daintily gloved hand loosely holding her wand, "This will work purrfectly." "Talking to the crows again?" "Shit." Charlotte half turned on her perch – one of the ceiling beams in the Gryffindor hall – her left arm perfectly still so as not to disturb Silvia, her pet crow. Behind and below her, Derek stood, hands languidly shoved into pockets and plain wizard hat precariously close to falling off. "Pardon?" "I said," Charlotte cleared her throat as she jumped down. Mentally, she cursed the ruined moment. She was going to try out a spell, perhaps on her brother and perhaps not, but clearly he hadn't slept well. His lack of sleeping equated to him, out of frustration, getting up earlier than expected. "It's unfortunate that Silvia isn't an owl." Derek gave her a half-awake partial eyebrow raise indicating he clearly didn't believe a word she'd just said. That, or he'd only processed one third of it. "What happened to the bed?" Charlotte prompted. Her wand disappeared into one of her many cloak folds whilst Silvia fluttered off to unknown places. As one, the Lécuyer siblings turned, fell into step, and wandered off to the dinning hall. “…” Derek blinked slowly, his steps more shuffling than usual, “It flew.” Charlotte harrumphed in amusement, an attempt to stifle laughter. Derek was so out of it currently, she could probably cast the spell without a hitch still. Glancing over at her brother, Charlotte decided against it. When most asleep, Derek surprised her.
