Ethan smiled, "Well I'm heading off to the dorms. I need to go practice the cheering charm on someone." he was about to turn off when suddenly he stopped in his tracks. "Kendal." he said in a baby voice, "You seem to need some cheering up, now don't you." he smiled

Kendall crossed her arms and scowled. "No way. Practicing charms and hexes on other students is against the rules," she said stiffly. Robin chuckled.

"How else should I practice my cheering charm though!" Ethan pleaded, "Professor let us do it in class, and it is a harmless charm that can only do good. Plus, it will benefit you," Ethan said sitting next to her on the bench.

Kendall glares at him and opens her mouth to refuse once more, but Robin cuts in, all smiles and deceptive charm.
"Oi, man, we'll let you, but if you fuck up, I'm going to hex your balls off," the Gryffindor says lightly, his eyes twinkling merrily.

Ethan smiled, "That's the ticket. Now don't worry, even if there /was/ a mess up, the worst that will happen is she will have a momentary laughing fit," Before anyone else could respond, Ethan drew his wand from his pocket. A ten inch holly with phoenix tale feather, "Cheero." he said. A faint yellow stream of magic shot from his wand into Kendall's face.

Robin watched for a second as Kendall tried to dodge inefficiently. Really, DADA, the actual fighting part of it, was not her best subject. Kendall blinked for a moment, her sour expression lingering before it immediately brightened.
"... That's creepy," Robin said offhandedly, placing a nonchalant arm around Charon's shoulders as he leaned unconsciously against his Slytherin friend. He was loathe for the end of this year to come.
