Alerick winced, rubbing the now-bruising area. "Oww!" he whined. "What was that for?!"
Ashley looked up, surprise registering in his eyes. "Of course," he said softly, gesturing towards the stove-area. "Just look around. There is some left, I know." Mathieu looked up at Blake, but he didn't say anything. That was his problem, he supposed - he was so quiet, and so easy to forget, especially in a crowd.

Merrina shook her head as she rose. "Do I really NEED to tell you? Are you that daft?" Amelia smirked as she folded her arms below her chest. "Alerick, you deserved it."
Blake nodded once, starting to look for something. "The piano - your piano - is all yours. The cabin upstairs as well. I'm sick of being doted upon by the captain. I'm a pirate, not a noblewoman or his sister." Her eyes narrowed a bit, though the latter of her words was mostly aimed to herself. The cabin offer, albeit was for him.

Alerick looked at her indignantly. "I did not - I'm the bloody hero, am I not?"
"I... what?" Ashley's voice was so quiet it was almost like he hadn't spoken at all. If his mouth hadn't been moving, one would have reason enough to assume it had just been the wind blowing through an open porthole of sorts, or wafting up from the cannon deck. Mathieu put down the wooden spoon he had been holding in shock.

"Hero my ass," came Amelia's reply with a roll of her eyes. "Come on, let's get to the crew's quarters. I'm spent." Merrina nodded as she started for the stairs, hips swaying just a little unconsciously. She was a reasonably endowed woman with curves in all the right places, a toned, flat stomach, and prominent muscles in both her legs and arms. Amelia, was very much the same, albeit a little more endowed than her comrade.
Blake found something to eat - an apple - and shifted her stern gaze to the man. "Your piano is in the cabin upstairs across from the Captain's quarters. The cabin, now belongs to you. The Captain wasn't pleased with the idea, and neither was my brother, but I'm not letting them take care of me like that anymore. I'm a grown woman, and a pirate nonetheless. I can make my own decisions." With that said, she turned to start back up to the main deck.

Alerick just raised his eyebrow. He was a man, after all, and men noticed certain things. "Right."
"... Thank you," Ashley said, his voice echoing his shock. Mathieu smiled unconsciously. "I'll show you where it is, Mr. Emmerich," Mathieu said, holding out a hand. Ashley allowed himself to be pulled to his feet, and proceeded to quietly follow the young man through the ship.

"Are you just going to stand there?" came Merrina's frustrated call. "Don't waste your breath, Merrina," Amelia chided, pushing past her to climb the stairs. Merrina shook her head as she followed, her braid swishing against her back.
Blake sighed, simply nodding in response and uttering a silent welcome, especially considering he wouldn't have heard it, and instead, started for the helm. She was to relieve Evaren, their pilot of sorts, so that the woman could get her sleep.

"I said I was coming," Alerick protested before hurrying after them, seeing his brother - or rather, half-brother - leaving through the other exit.
Mathieu poked his head hesitantly around the corner. He wasn't really supposed to be up here, after all, but hoped he wouldn't get caught. "This is all right with the captain?" "I... have no idea," Mathieu admitted, his cheeks heating slightly. "The captain's business with Blake is something I try to stay out of." "You're French, aren't you?" The question was unexpected, causing Mathieu to bump roughly into the wall. "Umm... Only half," he said at last.

Amelia rolled her eyes. "Sure you were. Last time I checked, you were standing there, looking like a buffoon." Merrina laughed a little at that. "Nice term form him, Melia."
"Mathieu, what are you doing up here?" Charlie stood a few feet away, watching the young boy with a furrowed brow. "You know what the Captain will say if he catches you on deck."

"Heroes are not buffoons!" Alerick protested again. "You're all sisters!"
"I...!" Mathieu's eyes widened. "I'm sorry, sir, really sorry, I was just showing Ashley - I mean, Mr. Emmerich - where the cabin was. I'm sorry!"

Amelia frowned, glaring at him. "We're all sisters? How do you make of that?!"
Charlie exhaled, shaking his head. "It's alright. Just don't let the captain catch you. "Now, did you see Blake by chance?"

"Oh, come on, it's totally true! You're all part of this... sisterhood!" Alerick insisted.
Mathieu relaxed. "I... yes." "She said something about taking over for the 'pilot', whatever that means." "Maybe she meant the helmsman or the navigator," Mathieu said.

Merrina shrugged. "Perhaps." "But that's for us to know, and you to find out, pretty boy," Amelia added with a large grin. She winked at him before laughing, and proceeding across the deck at a swift pace. Merrina watched her go, shaking her head a little.
Charlie exhaled with exasperation. "Alright, thank-you. Get out of sight as soon as you can, Mathieu." And with that, he started for the helm. Blake stood there, positioned at the wheel, as Evaren had already gone below deck. The brunette's eyes were narrow a little, but it was obvious she was thinking.

Alerick watched with a dejected expression. "No one ever tells me anything!" He said dramatically. "Not even Artie did."
Mathieu nodded. "Come on; the cabin's just around the corner, here." Ashley nodded.

Merrina laughed a little. "Alerick, you're not missing out on anything, trust me. There's no sisterhood, just good communication, aye?"
Tenaiya watched from just outside the Captain's Quarters. She couldn't understand why Foriden would agree to Blake's request, though she assumed it was because of his sibling-like love for the girl. With a sigh, she turned away. Seemed she was always second best to Blake. It had always irked her.

Alerick looked thoughtful for a moment. "... All right," he said at last, the spark in his blue eyes returning rapidly - so fast that people would think he had been non-serious about the whole matter, unless they knew how fast his moods could change, and what they could change to.
ooc;; I need another crew member. Suggestions?
