“They’ll be no triggers pulled aboard Lady Nightmare tonight,” Vyrick rumbled in his usual low, calm, tones as he entered, having caught most of the conversation. “Not under my watch.” Given his appearance, ridden with scars and forever carrying a sword, the typical outsider wouldn’t expect Vyrick to be a peacemaker. Rather, they’d expect him to be the initiator of a fight. He came to a stop behind Kyle, glancing over the cat boy’s cards and pointing out a few tips in lower tones. “I may be a good Doc,” Sedna paused to pull a card free of her hand with her teeth and drop it in the center of the table, “But I can’t bring back the dead.” She nodded to Kyle to go next. His teeth clattered together loudly as he wavered between simply throwing random cards around and following Vyrick’s suggestions. Eventually, he settled on the later. Kyle couldn’t keep the grin engulfing his features at his resulting hand. “I see that smile and I raise you twenty,” Zekiel decided, tossing in another coin. Kyle scowled. “You’re gonna ruin me, you monster!” He muttered. “That’s the plan, my man.” Zekiel smirked. Russell chuckled lightly at the banter, but picked up the earlier conversation from where it left off. “If the two don’t get in here a’fore Captain Leif, they’ll end up on night watch. No sleep.” A mischievous glint enter his eyes, “Imagine what they might do, alone, under the stark beauty of a star filled sky, with sleep far, far, from their minds.” As he spoke, Sedna’s face slowly crinkled up into dreaded realization and disgust. Finally, she kicked him under the table. “Stop that, ya’ dirty ol’ man, you’re givin’ me the creepiers!” Sedna shivered violently. Kyle looked up from his cards, blinking as though rising from a dream. “Huh? Did I miss something?” “Oh, you don’t want to know boy. Bury your nose back in those cards, aye.” Zekiel answered, his brotherly instincts kicking in, even if Kyle wasn’t his brother, as he nudged Kyle’s head back down.

"Grow up," Sivatul announced as he entered as well, leaning against the entry point. Caviesse wasn't far behind, licking blood off a blade, as usual. "Well, no more rat problem." Merrina shook her head. "Carnivore." "What?" "Don't start fighting, you two, please!" Sivatul demanded, looking a tad worn out. Baron pushed his hair aside. "So where're the others?" "Here." At that particular moment, Konar, with his monkey perched on his shoulder, entered the quarters, followed by the scarlet-haired Violet, the blonde Ashton, busty Evaren (once wench now turned pirate), Ashton's younger brother, Nuri, and the red-headed Selvianna. The Quarters were now FULL of pirates, save for a few which were missing. Charlie followed close behind, frowning darkly at the absence of his sister, choosing not to mention that she would not come down from the crows nest.

Vyrick did a quick head count, noting the absence of Blake, and added Caleb, Leroy, Nikolai, Devon, Skye, and Syri as they entered – almost missing Syri, as she moved like a shadowed. Another recount informed him that Momo, Levi, and Ivel were missing as well. “Russell,” Vyrick nudged the drinking pirate. “Where’s your brother?” “I’m not his watch keeper,” Russell quirked a brow, “Hopefully Ivel’s getting him drunk.” He grinned at the thought of his brother drinking. Levi got drunk far too easily. “How many drinks have you had?” Sedna inquired over her cards. She twiddled her fingers in greeting to all the pirates that entered. “Only fifteen.” Russell shrugged. Zekiel slapped his hand of cards down. “And you’re still not drunk? It must be watered down, matey. Must be.” He nodded resolutely as he leaned back in his chair. A wicked grin flashed across Sedna’s features. In the next instant, Zekiel fell backward, chair and all. Kyle cracked up as though he’d just inhaled laughing gas. “I think I know where the alcohol goes.” Sedna jerked a thumb at Kyle. She then laid down her hand. “I win!” And promptly gathered all the coins. “Ai, not so fast!” Zekiel popped his head up onto the table, flipping his cards over. His features fell as he realized that Sedna had, indeed, won. “I’ve been tricked!” Sedna grinned, “Swindled’s more like it.” Tossing his cards into the pile, Russell stood and stretched, taking another sip of his rum. “Teach me to play cards with a Doctor.” Kyle was still laughing, now practically falling out of his seat. “Think maybe the cat’s lost a few marbles?” Zekiel inquired, motioning his own head. “What marbles?” Kyle’s laughter abruptly stopped. “I don’t recall ever buying marbles.” “Your case stands.” Leif announced, entering the room. Automatically, a few of the pirates saluted, amongst them Caleb, Vyrick, Russell – with his rum, Zekiel – a nudge of his hat, Sedna – cards and coins everywhere, and Kyle with his tail. Leif’s autumn brown orbs flashed through the room, noting the absence of a few crewmembers. “Kyle, retrieve newest resident from the Crow’s Nest.” He instructed, “Baron, inform Momo the kitchen has closed for the night.” His eyes narrowed on Levi and Ivel’s bunk bed. “The mischief makers will arrive shortly before I light their bed in flames, I assure you.”

ooc;; Charlie had come in, btw bic;; Baron nodded, and proceeded, with arms crossed, up onto the deck. He crossed quickly, nearly jogging down the stairs to the kitchen. "Mogen. Meeting. Leif's deemed the kitchen closed for the evening. Come on." Ivel glanced at Levi, as he took a swig of his rum. The contents ran smoothly down his throat. "Aye, you still alive, mate?"

OOC: I saw, Leif meant Blake. And Leif wasn't about to send Charlie after his own sister. Kyle, the oddball, crawled under the table, darted between pirates, and eventually ended up clawing his way across the ceiling until he reached the deck. There, he took a deep breath of the fresh night air before gracefully dashing up the mast. He paused at the edge of the Crow's Nest. "Hey Blakey!" He chirped, "Ya' know we're all supposed ta' gather in the crew's quarters for a meeting, aye?" Mogen pouted, downtrodden, in the middle of making meatloaf. "But I'm not done with the ravioli!" Jack bounced onto all fours from his bed, barking once and nodding firmly in agreement. He then went over to sniff at Baron, wagging his tail more than he had for Blake. This was someone familiar. Levi warily eyed the rum in Ivel's hand. He would not drink it, absolutely not, as that would jeopardize their pranking tonight. "I'm alive. The question is: are you, and for how long?" He saw Kyle's lean catlike form dart across the deck. Lightly, he added, "Do you mind Leif burning our bed to rubble if we don't beat Kyle back?"

ooc;; I meant at the beginning of your last post bic;; Blake glanced at Kyle, frowning. "I had forgotten, to tell you the truth. Is everyone waiting, then?" Baron crouched down, scratching Jack's head. "Hey boy." He returned his sullen-looking gaze to Mogen. "Leif's orders, I'm afraid." Ivel nodded. "I don't care about the beds, and you know how much alcohol I can consume before actually getting drunk and impaired, brother."

OOC: Oh! *fixes it* Thanks Emzy. ^-^
"Yep~" Kyle chirped. For a catlike individual, he sounded more like a bird. Perhaps he'd eaten one for lunch. "Come on." He slid down the mast easily, not getting a single splinter along the way.
Mogen sighed heavily. "Very well then." Within seconds, he had everything in the kitchen put away. Jack huffed approvingly at the scratching. With his tail still wagging, the dog led the pirates to the crew's quarters.
"I know," Levi said, fingering his knife. "Just as you know how easily I can get drunk. As for the beds: there's always Leif's to... borrow." He grinned wickedly at the thought of stealing Leif's bed. Briefly, he wondered how the Captain would react to that. He shook the thoughts off and stood, stretching idly. "But we don't want to be expected for anything out of the ordinary, so we'd best be in time for this meeting." Levi added, remembering how Nyx had caught onto one of their pranks by realizing they were unusually late to the meeting. It had still gone off without a hitch, but Levi would rather not chance any errors in this magnificent masterpiece.
