“This is why we make the perfect undefeatable pair,” Levi twirled another knife, “The fox with the brains is the fox that can never be caught, eh?”

"Indeed it is," agreed Ivel. "Now give me a minute while I find another apple, and then we can continue with our plans, aye?" He didn't wait for an answer as he jogged to the stairs, and entered the kitchen. He waved to Mogen as he reached the barrel of apples, took up three or four, and then proceeded back to the deck.

“Such a healthy lad, taking the apples and not the pizza,” Mogen mused to Jack, waving at the pirate as he darted in and out of the kitchen. Levi nodded briefly to Ivel, watching as his partner in crime raced off and came back with more apples. Levi waited until Ivel had neared him, then, without touching the apples or releasing his knife, twirled the knife over one apple effectively slicing it into eight pieces. “A dead cat is going to be hard to find,” Levi kept his voice low. “I have bones and red dye though.” He didn’t mention where he got them, not feeling the need as Ivel was with him when he got them. The two were practically inseparable, even when Levi contacted his more dangerous sources.

"Perhaps the next citizen-place on our route will have a live one we can end," replied Ivel thoughtfully. "We're due there tomorrow, aren't we? For supplies?"

“Not sure if we’re gonna make the stop, with the way Leif’s flouncing around.” Levi answered, motioning to the sauntering Captain. He liked to move around a lot and make plenty of motions while he talked; it made it easier to understand what he was saying without hearing him, and it also made it fairly easy to decipher the secret code language he had set up for the Crew. Right now, Levi could tell that he was talking to Caleb about the next treasure: it seemed to involve a cave and a sunken ship. He could also tell that Leif was on the verge of announcing this next treasure. As he watched their Captain, an idea hit him. “Didn’t Sedna have a cat?” Levi asked. It was true: she’d brought a cat aboard once. It mysteriously vanished after a month aboard. The day after its vanishing, Sedna was extremely moody. Celosia explained it as “the cycle of life.” At the time, Levi took it to mean “she PMSed and killed her own cat.”

Ivel shrugged. "I wouldn't know, but shall we find out?"

“Why not.” Levi shrugged. He tossed a knife in Sedna’s direction. As he predicted, Syri caught it by the blade. Syri remained expressionless as she lightly tossed the knife back. Sedna, unperturbed by the near wounding – mainly due to how many times Levi had done it to get her attention, flounced over to the two mischief makers. “There a particular reason to my near death experience?” She inquired, not at all threateningly, as she moved lightly, her movements akin to a dancer’s, to stand behind the pair and lean against both their shoulders. “Aye, you had a cat once, didn’t ya?” Levi twirled the freshly taught knife in one hand. Sedna rested her elbow on his head, using it as a shelf so she could rest her own head in her palm. Thoughtfully, she hummed her answer. “I did~ but what use would you two have for a dead cat?” Levi’s eyes flickered over to his partner’s; it was up to Ivel if they let Sedna in on the prank. Levi already knew, as he knew his partner did, that Sedna could be trusted in keeping pranks secrets.

"We need it to pull ... another prank, Sedna," replied Ivel. "Something akin to the fatally serious level, which will put the entire ship in torment should it succeed," his eyes flashed with pride, "and it will succeed. You can bet your medicinal skills on that one."
ooc;; okay, all my characters are up. Now to incorporate them.

OOC: I wish you the best of luck! ^-^ *is having trouble keeping track of all her characters* “Ooo~” Sedna whistled, “Sounds deliciously fun. Alright, the dead cat’s yours,” She consented. “Just bring it back when you’re done, aye?” “Aye, aye, Doc Spirit.” Levi saluted with his knife. “We may need you to back up various claims on a few pirate’s natures.” Sedna grinned wildly, all of her white teeth revealed. “My word is at your disposal – so long as no one gets killed.” She added lightly.

OOC: I think tomorrow we should skip to nighttime. Leif can announce where the Lady Nightmare is bound to next before everyone goes to bed, then Ivel and Levi can begin their mischief.

Nightfall Celosia sighed heavily, drawing the curtain around her bed closed so she could change into bed attire. Chloe, lucky little child, had her own bed chamber next to Leif's cabin. She'd invited Stella for a "sleepover," thus relieving the older sibling of having to suffer with her through the night. Except the “sleepover” was more of a permanent arrangement with a hammock in the room meant especially for Stella. ' At least she's making allies quickly,' Celosia thought, tugging the last article of clothing on. She flicked open the curtain to Nyx’s impatient face. Without a word, the two switched places, Nyx dragged the curtain shut, and Celosia waited as her fellow pirate changed into bed clothes. The two shared a hammock bunk bed of sorts. Nyx preferred the top bunk to the bottom, as it made it easier for her to get on her feet quickly should an emergency situation develop. When Nyx finished, the two walked, Celosia’s steps heavier than usual – likely with weariness, over to a table where Sedna, Russell, Kyle, and Zekiel played cards. Kyle was losing horribly but having a grand ol’ time about it. “Aye, matey, either it’s just me or ship’s got ya’ down in the graves.” Zekiel noted with a tip of his hat to Celosia. “I recently discovered my sister is a stowaway aboard our ship,” Celosia sighed. “So the ship is indeed ‘down in the graves’ today.” Russell hummed noncommittally. “Say, when’s Cap’ain gonna tell us the next stop?” Kyle changed the topic. His eyes traced his cards hopefully while his free hand scratched his cat ear mindlessly. “Soon as everyone’s in the crew quarters,” Nyx answered simply.

"I don't think that will happen any time soon, then," announced Merrina as she entered the Crew's Quarters. She set her blades, which she always carried around, on the barrel residing near her bunk, which she shared with not just Caviesse, but with her best friend, Sivatul, as well, though the latter of the two preferred sleeping on the floor for some strange reason. "That newbie is still outside staring at the horizon," agreed Amelia as she followed, removing her hat as she approached the table. "And her brother is watching her with a cocked pistol," announced Baron as he, too, entered the cabin. "You don't think he's thinking of doin away with her, do ye?" inquired Merrina. Amelia shrugged. "Who knows. He never even told anyone he had a sister in the first place. Maybe he prefers it that way?" "He won't shoot her," Tenaiya acknowledged, the calm and collected woman entering the Crew's Quarters as well. "They're brethren, bonded by blood; how would you feel if crazy thoughts such as those, entered your head?" "I'd pull the trigger." Tenaiya glanced at her secret lover, Foriden, as he appeared from the stairs. No one knew of their relationship, except for Sedna, as she was the most trusted aboard the ship. Though Konar, the monkey boy, was beginning to suspect something, they were sure of it. "Of course you would," replied Tenaiya, turning away from him. In public, they were sworn enemies. Foriden just swept past her to his hammock, removing his various scarves and weapons.
