Appearance: Unruly, untamable, wild, bleach blonde hair that flies about every which way at every slightest breeze. Her deep cerulean blue orbs match the sea in color and her skin is a lightly tanned bronze hue. A long winding dragon tattoo starts at her left shoulder and curls down around her arm to end at her wrist. Sedna enjoys wearing lots of shiny colorful jewelry and as such makes distinct clinking noises whenever she moves or walks. Despite being aboard a ship full of pirates, Sedna shamelessly wears whatever she wants: be that tons of clothing or just a bikini and feathered skirt. If spoken to about this, her answer is simple and straightforward: “What? You expect me to wear fanciful clothing in this heat, this sun, and this weather? Hahahahah! Ah, you amuse me so! I wouldn’t dare to dream of wearing anything but what I’m most comfortable in. Beside, do you know how difficult it is to wash blood out of clothing? Oh, don’t get me started on it!”

Personality: Optimistic, happy, rather cleaver, and easily spooked. Sedna actually enjoys being spooked and will often laugh at her own fear. In general, she is a bubbly girl always on the move, always doing something, and always searching for the fun in being on a pirate ship. She refuses to do anything but that which she enjoys doing. Sedna is also a rather persistent girl: if she wants a piece of information, she shall have it. For uncertain reasons, Sedna is keenly tuned to the feelings of those around her (this is presumed as something that comes with being a doctor by the crew of Lady Nightmare). When one pirate is feeling glum, Sedna knows and tends to disappear for a short while before coming back with a gift for said glum pirate: whatever the gift, it usually cheers them up a bit. Needless to say, Sedna can be rather affectionate to her friends, bearing gifts and knickknacks at random moments.

History: Born into a rich, well respected, and well-known family, Sedna’s maids, servants, and teachers tried to raise her to be a respectable lady. Unfortunately, Sedna was persistent and unbreakable. She would climb roofs, trees, and the sort. Her father was a doctor and Sedna would go out of her way to accompany him to work. There, she learned how to be a doctor herself. Once she’d mastered the “modern” way of medication and doctoring, Sedna began roaming the streets and the jungles for other forms of doctoring: these, too, she mastered soon. Eventually, it became blatantly apparent to her parents that their little persistent and wild Sedna was a child prodigy: whatever she put her mind to, she would master. Shortly after this realization, they decided to send her to some recently made private shush-shush school for girls. If required taking a ship – and that is where Sedna vanished, onto another pirate ship. Let it be known that Sedna did not like being kidnapped off a ship. Let it be further known that when Leif came along to raid the ship Sedna was kidnapped to, he found the crew tied up, bound to the ship’s mast, and Sedna gleefully steering the helm into nowhere. Since then, Sedna has been part of the Lady Nightmare and its crew.

Other: Sedna is an excellent dancer but a horrible fighter. She is also a very good actress; good enough that, when she acts, she can even hide her rather distinctive accent. As a doctor, Sedna can pierce ears easily and properly – hence why most pirates go to her for an ear piercing. She refuses to drink for fear of getting drunk and, as such, has never drunk wine, beer, rum, or anything of the sort. Sedna is also fairly good with card games and tricks; she shamelessly plays, shamelessly cheats, and shamelessly wins. (“I’m on a pirate ship; what, you expect me to not cheat while they do?”) It should be well known by now that Sedna is shameless about everything she does. She freely admits that she is not the most modest and reserved girl on the planet.

Appearance: Syri’s rudely cut smoky violet hair never dares to get in her way: it’s always tied back by bandanas, hats, or hair ties. Three white tattooed lines run vertically down her right eye; another white tattoo crisscrosses in an X on her right shoulder. The only visible scar adorning her body is a faint white one on her stomach. Syri typically wears form fitting clothes that either aid her in fights or don’t get in her way at all. Her stormy grey eyes observe all: missing certain details purposefully, forgetting others, or zeroing in on specifics.

Personality: She is a lean, mean, killing machine. Syri never shows emotion, never feels emotion, and never expresses emotion. Still, she can read others like a book. Some believe she is psychic, with out easily she reads everyone, and often try to get her to reveal Leif’s inner thoughts. Either she can and is simply unwilling or even Leif’s truest intentions remain clouded to Syri’s expert gaze. Compared to Chloelia, Syri is silence defined. She never speaks unless she feels she absolutely must – typically to Leif – and subtly expresses herself in a variety of body signals. She does not care for gems, gold, money, or shiny things. She has exactly one silver earring in her right ear and one silver chain wrapped loosely around her waist. The earring was a gift from Leif that she wears at all times. The chain is a default weapon of her choice. Syri constantly wears a stoic, stony, expression; an aura of unrelenting calm – the calm before a storm – envelopes her.

History: She doesn’t know how to cook and once nearly burned down the ship attempting to do so. Since then, she’s been banned from any cooking utensils – unless using them as weapons. Before being a Pirate, Syri was a body guard.

Other: Syri can convert any and all daily objects into weapons of mass destruction. She may not speak much but she understands all languages. Whether or not she can actually speak all languages is yet to be revealed. It is vaguely known that Syri has good sources, as Leif often requests either her or Levi to double check a piece of information.

She barely wears any makeup as she doesn’t need: she is flawless beauty. Seemingly upon Ava’s command, her skin can become the palest of pales or a stunning gold tinted bronze hue.

Personality: Soft-spoken, polite, charming, and inviting; by all means, Ava is a sweet, kindhearted, and gentle lady of the purest intentions. But by Leif’s standards, she is a seductress of the supreme level: out for only money, a creature of pure greed and emitting endless wave after wave of innocuous lust. Still, one cannot help but admit that Ava, whatever her intentions may be, is a sweet caring and modest lady.

History: Born in France. Raised alongside Leif and many other Ó Nualláins. Speaks fluent French, Spanish, English, and Latin. Rides English Saddle and Side Saddle perfectly. Was present when Leif purposely fell off his horse. Renowned for once, when she was eight, childishly calling Leif a monster for hating horses.

Other: Ava cannot fight to save her life. She can, however, sing extremely well. She especially enjoys singing children to sleep. Ava always carries herself with unmatched grace, no matter the situation. While she sometimes wears a patch over her right eye, she is not actually half blind.

Personality: Nyx is stubborn, unmoving, quick to act before thinking, and harshly honest in her deception. She prefers to keep all others at bay until she is certain she knows them inside and out, upside and down, straight to their deepest secrets and hidden desires. Thus far, only Sedna and Celosia have passed to the caring individual underneath the layers of spiky shielding.

History: Orphaned at a young age, learned to fend off the streets and joined a random street gang. Nyx switched gangs often until she finally met the docks. There, she officially became a pirate.

Appearance: Unruly blond curling locks bounce whenever she walks, her grey-violet eyes catch everything, and her skin forever remains a light creamy color. She only seems to bruise or blemish when the ship is wounded. No matter the weather, the storm, the tide, or the movement of the ship, Celosia has perfect sea legs. As such, on shore, Celosia sways and saunters quite a bit, almost appearing off balanced. She is forever wearing a pirate hat, a gift from Leif, with a giant fluffy white feather in it and a pair of gloves.

Personality: She has a no-nonsense, motherly nature about her constantly. Celosia ensures that everyone is doing their job, their part, and getting their fair share for it. She doesn’t take back talking, rudeness, or ill manners kindly. Still, Celosia is one of the friendliest, most open and welcoming pirates aboard the Lady Nightmare. While she is very opinionated, she enjoys listening to other people’s view points and facilitating arguments to create peace. Overall, Celosia is the “mother” of Lady Nightmare.

History: Her father was a sailor, her mother a land lover. Celosia grew up with a preference for the sea and adventure than for land and boredom. She started off her pirating career by stealing books, mainly about pirates. From there, it simply escalated. Now, Celosia looks to accumulate enough of a fortune to take care of her younger sister, Stella, with ease. Their parents died some time ago, when Stella was only five years old.

Other: Many a crewmember, for some odd reason or another, tends to think of Celosia as the physical embodiment of Lady Nightmare. Therefore, when she says the ship does not feel well, they take her comment to heart. It is a good thing to, considering Celosia likes to talk to the ship as though it speaks back. While she is decent with a sword, her preferred weapon appears to be the sheath of a sword itself and tiny feather-shaped spearheads. When overtaking another ship, Celosia tends to utilize karate moves and the key pressure points of a body.

Personality: For her age, she is actually a rather rational minded individual. Stella just chooses not to use this rational side of hers when going on wild and dangerous quests. Right now, she’s struggling with seeing her older sister as a sister and a guardian, so she’s a bit temperamental and unruly. Generally, Stella is extremely selfless and highly curious. She won’t hesitate to get in trouble in order to satisfy her curiosity.

Mostly, she recalls Celosia, her older sister, and going off on pirating adventures with her. Of course, going with Celosia on a “pirate adventure” meant: be quiet, stay safe, and simply watch. She utterly refuses to be separated from her older sister for any reason whatsoever.
