At the mention of Elizabeth's having vanished, the blonde indeed was not pleased. He stood, and immediately sought after wherever she had gone.

Elizabeth was indeed just wandering around. Her head felt fuzzy, fuzzier than she was used to, and she had slipped away to see if she could collect herself enough to think straight.
Arthur nodded.

Charlie stepped out into the street, spotting her almost immediately, and without another thought he approached her. "Elizabeth! What are you doing?"
"You must remember that most of the others need to get there first. It takes two months from Japan, and only a few weeks from Spain."

We stopped in one of the other places here, they insisted I drink, so I drank until I couldn't feel anything, and that's all I could remember. From what they tell me, they carted me off to the docks and couldn't wait so they did it right out there in the street. Sounds like it may have been a conspiracy in my opinion, but whatever."
"Without an escort," Charlie murmured, shaking his head. "You are a...beautiful woman, and any of these rotten scoundrels would give their left leg to overtake someone such as yourself for a night, Elizabeth. It's not safe for you to go walking around here alone."
"Indeed. Tell me, what did you have in mind?" Scarlett inquired with intrigue.

Charlie sighed, shoving his hands into his pockets. "Alright."
Scarlett tilted her head. "Of course we do! You want to liberate Dalian, so all you have to do is go in there, storm the place, and get the job done. No one dare defies the council, or their decisions, and if they do, we blast them!"

Scarlett laughed again, this time, louder. "Artie you're such a lazy ass!"

Mina snorted, and Alerick blinked.
Elizabeth jumped back as two men tumbled out of a building, throwing punches at each other as they screamed out in a language she didn't understand.
Arthur just smirked again. "I just think yours gets to the point more."

Charlie shook his head, withdrawing to wrap an arm around her waist, leading her away from the stumbling men now trying to take over the entire roadway.
"Yeah, yeah, excuses." Scarlett finished her drink, setting the flask on the bar.

"It's very violent here," Elizabeth said, wrinkling her nose.

"That was a flat out excuse," Scarlett retorted. "NOT a lie."
Charlie nodded once. "This is what this place is. It used to be a little more organized; but now you can see why some of us didn't think Dalian to be all that bad."
