bic;; Elizabeth rushed forward, hugging him tightly. "God, I was so frightened that those pirates would kill you after you left!" she said, her voice teeming with relief. She brushed a strand of brown hair behind her ear as she stepped back, smiling widely, and her eyes widened even further as she caught sight of Antonio, who winked.
"God, Antonio, you too? And Jean? Ashley, you were in Spain?" Elizabeth rushed forward to hug Antonio too, and by this point it was hard to tell whether she was laughing or crying from relief. She stepped back then, hands clasped in front of her as she silently surveyed the others. "Who are they?"

"Blake, honestly, that was nearly nine months ago!" Charlie reprimanded.
Blake glanced at him, hesitating a moment as she pondered this. "Sorry...I wasn't thinking."

"I..." Elizabeth's face heated slightly, but she peered at them more closely.
"This is Charlie and his sister, Blake - my fiance."
Something flickered in Elizabeth's eyes for a moment before a smile stole across her face. "Congratulations, then, I imagine, but I am confused as to... as to why you have come back. Dalian is no better - if anything it is worse. I think the only reason they haven't attacked you is because of your... entourage."
Antonio and Jean winked, Christian scowled and snapped something in Spanish, and Mina snorted.

Blake breathed a light sigh of relief at Elizabeth's reaction, having feared the worst to have taken place.
"It's gotten worse?" Charlie inquired with concern. "How much worse? What's happened now?"

Mindy ran down to Logan who was marching down the docks screaming her nickname tot he entire town. "What do you think your doing!?" Misty said trying to loom over him but couldn't becaues she was to short. "I am trying to spy on the ship but you want to scream out our location."

Elizabeth grew quiet for a second before sighing and stepping back into the house, her hands still clasped in front of her. "You had all best come in," she told them. "No one could have missed you all. Everyone who can will be listening."

Jean, Mina and Christian followed, and Ashley and Antonio were already inside. Elizabeth shut the door.
"The pirates are waring, you know," she began. "It's not... full-out yet, but the other pirates that reside here have begun to push Cadivier and his men into action - they think he's too lenient on the townspeople, and too lazy."

Blake nodded, fiddling with her hair out of anxiety. "And of course, they're not giving up willingly, are they?"

"Cadivier's a lazy sodding bastard, but he's capable of action when he wants to be," Elizabeth said, and the spitfire tone and sudden language made Christian do a slight double-take as Antonio laughed and Ashley raised a single brow with a nostalgic look.
