"I'm showing you around," Daemon answered smoothly, pointing out significant places throughout the main part of the camp. There was the meeting shelter, which was a large tent-like thing off toward the south-west edge, the supplies tent, more toward the east, the armoury of sorts, which was in the complete opposite side than where the supplies were kept, his study - the place they had just been in - and the pathway leading to the eating area, which had a shelter of its own with the cooking supplies, etcetera. He showed her the trail leading to the other thieves' residences, and then where his own was placed, should she have the need to get him for any reason while he was in there. By the end of the tour, it was mealtime, and his subordinate came over to insist Irene go off to join the other new recruits. They would all eat together. But Daemon brushed him off, leading the young woman there himself.

Irene smiled and thanked him for that. After all, she figured he must be busy, as he was a leader, and when you were trying to command something very much illegal, it tended to be very time-consuming. Still, she was even more shocked when Daemon led her to the eating area, her eyes turning to him questioningly, one eyebrow raising in a bad habit she had developed as a child. Her mother had often harshly rebuked her for it, saying it looked undignified (among many other things), but the habit had persisted, and Irene had given up trying to fight it.

Daemon paused in the large clearing, the entire thing now full of men and woman of various species and rank, eating together in large groups. There were at least one hundred, if not two hundred people banded together in this open grassland, where the eating tent stood tall and proud in the very center. Without another word, the blonde demon man started over to the awaiting food area, eager to get a meal, as he hadn't yet eaten this day. He motioned for Irene to follow once more, explaining how the eating layout worked amongst their group, at the same time. "They are divided by class; the archers are in the northeast, while the swordsman are in the northwest. The common foot soldiers, more or less, make up the east and west, while the supplies carriers and medics take residence in the southeast and southwest. Those who work with animals reside in the south, and the main council of this group eats in the north. Any questions?"

"Where do you think I will end up?" Irene asked, turning to him steadily.
ooc;; Whoa, short post. I'm finally getting a sense of her character ^^ I'm thinking that, while she may seem nice at first, she has a really nasty, cruel streak to her because of her mother, and how she was brought up as a child. This okay?

ooc: Haha sure, I guess x3 Just so long as it doesn't take FOREVER for anything to happen ^^;
bic: Daemon smiled, which in turn was a very handsome gesture. "I, personally, see you as one of the medics to start, or one of the animal handlers just for now. You have knowledge of both horse and sewing, so either would be a good starting placement. We would train you, work you up so you could wield a sword or a bow effectively, and perhaps before long, you'd take place on the council."

ooc;; *Winks* Trust me, I created Irene specifically so that it could happen whenever you wanted this time. She's flexible that way. And the streak only shows up during certain circumstances, during situations that remind her of her mother ^^
bic;; Irene seemed to think about this before nodding, the smile that quirked at the edges of her lips confirming. "Sounds perfect," she told him simply. "I really do appreciate it." And she did. After all, everything was new to her, and this man - this Daemon - was an enigma, at least to Irene, who had been expecting something more... cold and ruthless. This man definitely didn't seem like that kind of person. It made her smile.

ooc: ahaha this also gives me a chance to show you how easily it is to role play romance with a male counterpart ;P Remember that discussion we had about, what, a couple months or so ago? P:
bic: Daemon nodded once to her. "It's not a problem, Miss Stirling. Now, you may either choose a group to sit with, or, if you're still uncomfortable, you can come and eat with us. It's your choice."

ooc;; I believe so, yes ^^
bic;; "If it is all right," Irene began slowly, "I'd like to go with you, if that is all right..." She gestured to the other recruits quickly, shaking her head ruefully. "I don't believe they care too much for me." A wry smirk, and a small shrug.
