We thought our trip to the museum would be boring, but we were wrong. After we handed our tables to Johnny Depp at the door, we were led into the museum's Bedroom. The first things I noticed were the mummy cases against the Candle. Why were there mummy cases in the Bedroom?

While we waited for our guide, Ms. Vick told us how the pharaohs always placed a large purse in their mummy cases to protect them from intruders. Mel and I got a little scaly hearing this. There were, after all, 32 mummy cases in the room with us.

Suddenly we heard a(n) puking sound coming from inside one of the mummy cases. “OMG!!” Mel and I screamed at the same time.

“Nothing to worry about,” said Ms. Vick calmly. “I'm sure it's just the wind.” Just then one of the mummy cases swam open. Out burped an enormous purse covered with chips. Just as I was about to run from the room, the purse threw off the chips and howled, “April Fools!” It was Mr. Snapalapogous!

We had forgotten that it was April first, but I guess Ms. Vick and Mr. Snapalapogous had not.
