Name: Teremun Khai (t: "loved by his father")

Nickname: Tere or Emun, but only to those in his close-knit band.

Age: Nineteen.

Personality: He's really harsh. Almost everything he done is needlessly embellished, and he feels he has to constantly prove that he's a worthy leader of the band - that he deserves the position, and he's not just there because his father was leader before him.

Appearance: Teremun's skin is a light brown, but he has a red skin patch across his right shoulder. His hair, while very dark, is not quite black. Instead it is clearly just a darkened brown in the sunlight, cut short to allow easy movements during his raids. His eyes are green because of his mixed blood - Roman and Egyptian. He has a scar running across his cheek and down to his neck, and he sometimes looks a couple years older than he really is. Teremun is often found wearing, oddly enough, a dark navy robe over a simple gray kilt.

Rank: Teremun is the leader of a large thief-band. However, while they are feared, they are not the most dangerous or hardened criminals out there.

History: His father, named Tehuti, was the leader before him. He was often told that his mother was a pretty Roman slave girl, and that she died soon after giving birth to him, though it was actually due to poisoned food rather than birth complications. He was seventeen when his father was captured and put to death by Pharaoh, and he has lead the band ever since.

Name: Zesiro (t: "twin")

Nickname: Zes or Siro, but she doesn't like nicknames much.

Age: Seventeen.

Personality: Zesiro is completely intolerably of other people, and her only known loyalty is to her half-brother and leader, Teremun. She spurs all weakness and she absolutely loathes seeing any member of the band acting sweet towards each other. She's a brutal fighter, often abandoning tactics in favour of slashing wildly at everything in sight, and as a result she had often be found in the makeshift infirmary. Many members of the band are uneasy around her, and some of them are bold enough to whisper their theories about why she's like this, believing she's in love with someone she can never have. When asked about who it might be, however, anyone speaking of it will immediately clam up.

Appearance: Because of her thoughtless fighting style, Zesiro has many scars decorating both her arms and lower torso. She has a small scar running across her right eyebrow, but otherwise her face is surprisingly intact. She has dark brown eyes and long black hair, which she refuses to cut. She's rather tall and can be very imposing. She favours a dark plum-colored outfit, almost like a dancers in that it is loose off the legs and arms, while she fights. When among her fellow thieves she often wears raid spoils, including rich white linen dresses and large golden earrings.

Rank: Thief/assassin.

History: Her mother was (and is) a member of the thief gang who married the previous leader after his Roman consort died of poisoning. Many suspect Zesiro's mother, but the last person to suggest that found himself unable to produce children shortly thereafter, and the matter has been dropped since. She was born two years after Teremun, and she is fiercely devoted to him.

Personality: Very quiet and obedient.

Appearance: Medium height, bronze skin, and dark brown eyes. Fenu lacks hair, as it has been kept routinely shaved since he was a child. Wears nothing but a plain shenti.

History: Fenu has been a palace slave since he was born, as his mother was also a palace slave up until her death, which occured when Fenu was ten.

Nationality: Hebrew

Personality: Has quite a mouth when defending the people of her rank (i.e. loved ones and workmates) yet falls entirely silent when faced by her higher superiors. Protects those who are helpless, even if it means taking the wrath for it later.

Appearance: Long, waist-length brown hair, resolute hazel eyes, and skin tanned lavishly by the sun. Covered in scars from multiple lashings, yet still strong in both muscle and spirit. Sports a typical slave's garb.

History: As with the majority of Hebrew people in these days, Genesis's family was no exception when it came to slavery. Both her and her brother were taken from their mother at an early age, and had not seen her since, though it was easily assumed she had been killed by Pharaoh's officials.

Personality: Obedient but reluctantly so. Is infuriated by the way his family has been treated in such a fashion, despite their slave status.

Appearance: Short, somewhat unruly auburn hair, dark slate coloured eyes, tan skin, and larger muscles from hard labour. Scars are typical, though holds not as many as his sister, Genesis.

Personality: Octavius can be very brash at times, though he carries himself with the grace of a natural leader, and is often very judgmental towards others not of his origins, often staying silent or looking down upon them, despite his own status. His attitude suggests that he was once a middle-class or above inhabitant of Rome, though whether or not his family was rich/influential enough to be considered citizens remains unseen.

Appearance: Octavius is Roman; his skin is paler than that of the other slaves as a result, and his hair is curly and brown-gold. He's not overly tall, but neither is he too short, and he has a single white scar across the back of his left shoulder blade.

History: As stated above, Octavius is of Roman origins, and was brought back to Egypt along with his half-sister's delinquent brother-in-law, Augustus. His exact standing in Rome's society is unknown.

Name: Augustus

Nickname: 'Gus' by some.

Age: 19

Personality: Augustus doesn't think much about whether or not the things he does (or, rather, did) are illegal. He just does them and reaps in whatever reward he can get. He's very charismatic, very easy-going, and has even managed to befriend some of the more slack guards, much to Octavius' evident dismay. He rarely ever displays the ability to be serious unless he's planning something, or something has disrupted one of his plans and he's trying to compensate for it.

Appearance: Augustus' charismatic persona if offset by his clashing appearance. His hair is pale, like wheat, but his eyes are dark, and his skin is easily affected by the sun, leaving him looking far darker than he really is. In fact, his hair is the only thing that still positively identifies him as a Roman. He's fit and lean, a tribute to his rather illegal former lifestyle, and his hair is curly, also like Octavius', though they are not related by blood.

History: Anyone who talks to Augustus for a lengthy period of time knows about his shady life in Rome. He's quite open about it, for really, what has he to hide? He says he used to be involved in illegal trades all his own, and used to run a small tavern in one of the cities outside of Rome itself.
