Dakana stepped into the room the two were in and looked at them both. "Would you happen to know where your master is young one?" she asked quietly, keeping her voice calm as she looked at Miele.

Miele glared at Kyp, flicking a couple credits at him angrily as she turned back to face the new Sith woman. "I'm surprised you need to ask me," she sneered. "And why do you want to speak to him, anyway?"

"I have something I wish to discuss with him." she replied calmly, knowing Wesser wouldn't be happy if she killed his apprentice. "You should know as well as I do that he can be very hard to find at times." she stated quietly.

Miele snorted. "Of course I know. It's because he doesn't like talking if he can avoid it," she said stubbornly. "But what is it? If it's not important..."

Dakana forced herself not to snap at the girl. "What I have to discuss with him is none of your concern, now could you please tell me where he might be." she replied, keeping her voice calm, even though she wanted to growl at her.

Miele's eyes narrowed, and Kyp sighed dramatically. "It is my business," the Sith said haughtily. "My Master and I share a Force bond, therefore we work as a team!" Kyp chuckled. "Yes, Miele, we know." "Shut up, Kyp. Plus, he doesn't like being interrupted when he's out at night..." she frowned then, looking a little unsure. "He... thinks a lot. I don't know if I should let you interrupt him..."

"I know this." she frowned. "I grew up with him and trained with him." she replied, getting agitated. "it wouldn't be the first time I've interrupted him and it certainly won't be the last, now please tell me where he is." she said, trying to keep her cool.

"Why?" Miele challenged. "If you've nothing to hide, you have no reason not to say it. I shant endanger him to a messenger of Malak!" "Why would he be in danger from Malak...?" "I... it's... complicated. Shut up, Kyp."

Dakana was getting even more agitated than before and closed her eyes as she rubbed her temples. "Would you children stop arguing." she hissed, her eyes snapping open to narrow on them both. "It's private matters, which is none of your business. Malak has nothing to do with this."

"Oh? Then you lied when you came in, and you lied to Master Uthar! How can we trust you now?" "Oh for... He's out in the Valley somewhere, out the back."

Dakana was about to strangle Miele. "I never lied, I did as I had said but I remembered something I needed to speak with Zack about, /after/ you all left and I had spoken with Master Uthar." she growled softly. Her eyes narrowed to slits. "I don't need to answer to a youngling that has no manners. If you value your life don't push my buttons child." she growled then left the room.

"Address him by his title, you Sith Schutta!" Miele shouted. "That is quite enough from all three of you," came a new voice. "Miele, I have warned you about respecting your superiors... but that does not mean I will tolerate threats towards my apprentice, Dakana." "Master!"

Dakana stopped, hurt that he put his apprentice before an old friend. She closed her eyes and took a deep breath then left without a word. Now she needed to be alone.

The Marauder turned to Miele then, and even from here the young Sith could feel the disapproval he was purposely directing towards her. "I'm sorry, Master!" she said quietly. "I... I only meant..." "What, Miele? Spit it out," Kyp sneered. "She... infuriates me, Master! Lying her way in here, and... aren't Sith supposed to be better than that at deception? her story reeked of holes, and when she said Malak sent her, I... I panicked..." her voice was a whisper now. Kyp sighed then, moving to sit next to the girl. "You are the worst kind of Sith," he sneered. And I suspect your Master isn't much of a Sith at all. The aforementioned Master merely looked at them all, immobile. "Sleep," he finally said. "I'm blocking my end of the bond for tonight."

Dakana didn't go to her temporary quarters. She left the academy, going out into the canyon to meditate and vent, then compose herself. She was sitting on one of the ledges, staring out into the distance with academy at her back. She closed her eyes and her head dropped slightly, her face becoming hidden in shadows.
