Before you ask, no, I did not steal this from someone else, I wrote it myself by combining some other challenges on LJ and FF.

This is as the title says: something for writers who wish to challenge themselves.
The Rules:
1) Pick a fandom. A fandom is something like Harry Potter, Axis Powers - Hetalia, Fullmetal Alchemist, Yu-Gi-Oh!, Star Wars, Lord of the Rings, etc. Or, if you REALLY don't have one (and I mean really), then use your own characters.
2) Write down the names of your favourite characters (or just characters you like), cut them up, and put them into a hat. Mix well.
3) Draw two names one after another. Whichever name you draw first will be the dominant person in the relationship--i.e., they top. If you're doing something like that.
4) Grab your iPod/musical listening device and put it on Shuffle. Write down the first two songs that you get, and their artist. (If the song's in another language and you really want to pick another instead, feel free.)
5) Write a (preferably romantic, as it's more of a challenge) one-shot (or a continuing story) using the two characters whose names you drew for each of the songs that Shuffle produced. You will be using the song as a theme, but you can turn it into a songfic if you so choose.
(Optional!) 6) There will five rounds, and in each round you will have one less pairing to write.
For example: For Round One you will have to repeat steps 1-5 five times. In Round Two, you must do so four times. Round Three, three, Round Four, two, and Round Five, one.
If you followed all the rules, there is a bonus round: You may then choose your favourite pairing for that fandom (even if you were already lucky enough to draw it), and pick your own song to write a story to.
Of course, it's always fun to do the Shuffle Songs as well, so why not throw in two of those, ne?
