James sat and fattened his light brown hair a little. He opened up the menu and looked through the list, "Haven't even heard of half these dishes!" he mumbled. His eyes flickered across the room and he saw the young girl from earlier along from a few he saw in the library including the older man with the strange square pendent.

This time Russell laughed a little out loud. "Smart move, Raphael," he told the other.
--
"If I have anymore children after, I will call a second boy Wolfgang." "You're going to curse the poor kid with a name like that? Tryst, he'll get beat up in school!" "No he won't! James'll protect him," Trystan said with a grin.

Jack couldn't help but eavesdrop on the couple chatting loudly about an upcoming child. He chuckled as she brought up the odd name. he would be beaten up. Jack wouldn't mind having a dfferent name. His name was quite plain, maybe that's why some called him 'Pip'. . .

Raphael blushed deeply as Russell laughed at him, and even Airamond started chuckling. Oh well, he was used to it. It certainly wasn't the first time he'd gotten "The Look" from a relative or friend of someone he was flirting with, whether it was a boy or girl. Some might call him a shameless flirt, but that was just the way he was. He flashed a grin at Russell despite his blush and took a seat at the dining table.
---
Dale laughed as they entered the dining hall, the siblings bickering very amusing. He noticed there were already other people here, and he headed for a small table set for three.

Russell was still laughing lightly as they sat down at the table.
Lillian gave him a warning glare, to which he replied, "You have no authority over me."
--
Trystan and Riley followed.

Airamond picked up a menu, looking it over. Hannah did the same, turning a page with a delicate hand.
"What does everyone wish to have? Most of this looks delicious."
---
Dale picked up his menu and looked through it, chuckling a bit. "Roasted chicken is on the menu for tonight."

"Ooh, Russell can't have any of this!" Lillian exclaimed, her eyes widening. "He's a vegetarian!" "Lillian, please!" Russell hinted, a hint of colour blossoming on his otherwise pale cheeks as some people turned to frown. "That's not..." Their society held great disapproval for many things, one of those being a refusal to eat meat. It was a status symbol among them, and until now, Russell had skirted the edges of the Elite, so he never had to worry about it before now.
--
"Oh! I'm having that!" Trystan said. "She has mood swings," Riley supplied.

"Oh my, really?" Hannah asked quietly, one pale hand rising in front of her mouth. She had never heard of a man who would not eat meat. All of the ones she knew were ravenous carnivores.
"Now now, there's nothing wrong with that. And my dear lady Lillian, so kindly keep your voice down. I'm afraid you've embarrassed Mr. Wolf." Airamond chided gently. He knew all about the way some people looked down upon vegetarians, but he wasn't one to judge, so he tried his best to ignore such things. He noted Raphael looked a bit uncomfortable, but he was ignoring Lillian's remark as well.
---
Dale smiled at Trystan's reaction. The woman really was adorable. "Mood swings are quite normal and to be expected." He said, chuckling.

"Yes, really! See, we were at my house, and my father had ordered his huge roasted pig for my engagement party! George--my fiancee--was--" Lillian broke off as she heard Airamond's comment and saw some people whispering around them. "Now, now," a new voice said as Kuon walked up them, a tray balanced on one hand. "I think we've all had quite enough of this." "But--" spoke a thirty-some-year-old woman from a nearby table. Kuon gave her a charming smile, but it was laced with an unnamed malice that made the woman and those around her swallow their words. "Mrs. Dufour, you're too pretty to worry about such things. Why don't you return to your dinner, anyway? I'm sure what you heard was quite different from what it actually was, after all." Even if his words weren't convincing, the tone he said it in was, and the older woman blushed and turned back to her meal. Kuon raised an eyebrow at her husband and said nothing before turning and placing a basket of bread in front of Lillian. "Word to the wise, Miss: Keep your voice down, hmm?" The steward murmured before retreating, sashaying lightly as he went.
Russell wordlessly reached out, his slender fingers curling around a piece of wholegrain bread as he withdrew lightly. Lillian was flushed in embarrassment, her green eyes slightly misty. "Russell, I--" "Don't, Ms. Keller. Just... please don't." "... All right."
--
Riley nodded. "Just wish the circumstances were different," he said so she couldn't hear. Trystan was talking to one of the waiters--a blonde man named Willian.

Not a word was exchanged between Airamond, Hannah, or Raphael about what had just occured. Airamond gave a silent thanks to Kuon for silencing the dreadful talk before it really got started. He liked Russell, and he didn't think his eating preferences meant a thing.
Hannah snuck a glance at Lillian, noting the look on her face. It was a shame she'd been reprimanded so, but Hannah couldn't say she didn't deserve it, with the way she carried on. Even so, Hannah reached under the table and gently patted Lillian's hand, offering the woman a bit of comfort.
Raphael really just wanted some wine right about now. He hoped Kuon would come back with a big bottle of it, because he felt that he would need it to make it through this meal. And by the look on Russell's face, Raphael assumed the man could use a drink as well.
---
"Oh?" Dale murmured, his gaze flickering to the blonde waiter and Trystan.

Lillian smiled gratefully at Hannah, relaxing slightly.
Russell wondered how long it would take for the passengers on this ship to start tearing at each other. It was times like this when he realized just how little society had really grown. It was saddening, actually.
Kuon walked back to the table, placing a bottle of wine in front of Raphael. "On the house," he said with a wink before turning around and making his way back to the kitchen.
--
"I want the barbecue sauce!" Trystan told the blonde. "But is it good?" "Well, I rather like it," William said, running a hand through white-blonde hair. "But it's your call." "Umm... bring the recommended," Trystan said at last.

Raphael watched Kuon walk away, staring at the bottle of wine in front of him. Was the man a mind reader? If so, that was both cool and kind of creepy, but at the moment, Raphael didn't really care either way. He had wine!
Pouring himself a glass, then then offered the bottle to Russell. "Mr. Wolf, care for a glass of wine?" The red head asked.
---
"My good Sir," Dale called to the young man taking Trystan's order. "I'll have what the young lady is having."

Russell looked up. He seemed to think for a moment before nodding. "Yes... I'd like that very much," he said.
--
"Right away, sir!" William replied. "And you, Mr. Colyer?" "The roast, please." William gave them all a grin. "Right away!"

"Great! Drink up!" Raphael poured a generous amount into Russell's glass, and then he offered some to Airamond, who accepted the offer gratefully. Raphael shared with him too, then offered a bit to the ladies.
"Oh yes, thank you." Hannah replied. "Not too much though." Raphael poured some into her glass, and then offered Lillian some.
While Raphael was busy filling wine glasses, Airamond had decided on what he would like to eat, so he called a waiter forth.
---
Dale sat back, sipping the glass of water that had been set by his plate, waiting for his meal to arrive. He didn't like to drink since it would affect his work preformance, so he stayed away from the wine.

Russell forced a smile and took a sip from his glass, closing his eyes in faint bliss as the alcohol burned down his throat.
"Thank you very much," Lillian said brightly.
A young woman with brown hair tied into a messy bun walked over to their table. "Can I help you?" --
Trystan drank her cranberry juice.
