bic: Daemon studied her for a long time before finally consenting. When this happened, it was just a brief, "Fine," and then he turned and left. Outwardly, he looked angry, but anyone close to him would've been able to see that he was terrified of losing her.

Rosie left minutes after he did. She wandered into the forest and stayed there for hours. Indeed, she did return and waited for Daemon on his bed.

Daemon entered his shelter after those few hours, his expression hard but his energy drained. When he saw Rosie, however, his visage softened considerably, and a small smile formed on his lips. "You came back."
