Soon the young man was withering in pain , and fell out of the tree hard on his back. the brandish on his neck that read "Demise's Protector," was searing red, like it was a scar that was new. his long brown hair was sweaty, and he was furiously trying to calm it.

bic: Leon reached out for Dead's foot, and instantly they were transported to Leon's Headquarters . His brandish stopped hurting , but his eyes grew wide, his whole body tense. "Dead," he whispered into his ear. "Don't say, do, or look at anything unless /I/ tell you." he told him. they seemed to be inside a volcano. Soon, they were on a black carriage, being pulled into a large court like room. They were droppped off in their seats, and Leon sat down warily , motioning Dead to do the same. The powerful looking huge man was sitting in the Judge's seat, a large, stout face looking down evilly at them. "Leon Horton," He said in a growl. "What a /huge/ surprise." he said with heavy sarcasm. "You've failed your mission."

Dead grew tense under the man's voice. It was like a chain tied him up, making him unable to move.

"Silence!" The man gave a loud bang with gavel. "you know that if a protector like you lets the vampire you protect do something that the Council doesn't approve of, the said protector DIES!" he said.
"Your Honor, Dead hasn't even had the girl approved!"
"But it wasn't in his plans to have a bride!" another slam.
"Your Honor, If I could have two months to right the girl, to make her something the council would approve of , then I think that they'd see that She was, indeed, supposed to come into Andrewith's life!"
A loud bang, and the judge stood up."Three weeks."
And with a swirl of color, they were out of the volcano, and back in the meadow in Hirrak.

Dead towered over Leon. He grabbed him by the collar and lifted him off the ground. "Give me a good reason why I shouldn't eat you.." Dead's eyes were so red and bloody, they were almost black. His wings and fangs lashed out, his face showing no mercy.
