Daemon looked at her once more, but this time, couldn't tear his gaze. So, he just watched her affectionately.

When Rosie did open her eyes, her dark, almost, black eyes met his for a split second before she averted his gaze.

"...why?"

Rosie didn't respond to his question as she was only paying attention to the ceiling.

Daemon sighed. He could no longer stay in bed, so he moved to the end of the cot so as not to disturb her, and stood. He stretched his arms above his head and started for the cabinet to change.

"Stay in bed with me...? Please." Rosie whispered, yet she did not look at him.

Daemon glanced at her, sighing. "You know I have a job to do, Rosie."

"I understand.." Rosie tossed to her side, trying to avoid any further conversation.

Daemon shook her head. "If you did, you wouldn't have just turned away from me." His tone was that of disappointment, dismay, with the underlying hint of forced annoyance. He was more hurt than anything as he pulled on a clean jacket and pants, starting for the exit.

Rosie wished she would have never came. "Ok.." she whispered. She waited until he left.

Daemon was about to leave, but just as he pushed open the entry way, his subordinate appeared in his shelter. "You need to take a break." Daemon frowned. "I don't." "You do. That fight wasn't anything mild. Get back to bed." Daemon narrowed his eyes. "I'm fine." "Daemon, we won't strive if our leader is dead," the man snapped, whirling around to enter the main of camp once more. Daemon glared, standing there as he watched the doorway fall back into place.

Rosie's eyes narrowed at the news. Then she needed to leave. She couldn't stay here, she just couldn't. Alas, Rosie stayed in the same position.

Sighing with defeat, Daemon turned, removing his jacket. It was then, when the light glimmered on his skin, that a large wound was visible across his neck. It was long and rough, starting under his chin and ending between his pectorals. Whoever had injured him had made an attempt on his life. He climbed back onto the cot, carefully so as to make sure Rosie wouldn't be injured, though kept a small space between them. He didn't want her to get upset again. Seemed that's all she was around him.

Ooc. *Doesn't think she can roleplay very well*
Bic. Rosie was upset, indeed. She felt unwanted and weak. Everything was her felt. Rosie felt pressure on the bed as Daemon climbed in. She didn't say anything, as her words always caused a problem. The Drelf grew tense at the fact that Daemon was disappointed at her. Rosie closed her eyes and bit her lower lip, thoughts and phrases haunting her already clouded mind.

ooc: Huh? Why not?
bic: "You may leave if you desire to," Daemon told her softly, trying hard to prevent emotion from filtering through his words. He was failing, he knew that, and, truth be told, he was also crying. "I won't follow if you don't want me to."
