"Speaking of," Wheatstalk giggled as her mate strolled over, and her craziest kit came along. No matter how hard she tried, she couldn't help but feel distaste to her daughter. It wasn't right. Mothers weren't suppose to feel that way about kits, but yet . . . that feeling lingered inside the troubled Wheatstalk.

Nightshadow and Wildpaw walked towards Rainpath and Wheatstalk.
"Hello, my dear." he said as he licked her ears and sat next to her, their pelts touched. "Hi!" Wildpaw squeaked. She wanted to get on better terms with her mother, but... Wildpaw didn't know how hard that was going to be.

"Hello." Wheatstalk smiled to her mate, and kit. She purred, and licked her mate back affectionantly. she watched Wildpaw buzz over, and flicked her tail playfully at her.

"How are you today?" he asked as he motioned for Wildpaw to come over. Wildpaw happily bounded over, not fast, but at normal speed. She sat next to her mother with a nervous smile. Maybe her mother was finally giving her a chance. Giving her a chance to finally, finally, be loved.

Rainpath acknowledged nightwhisperby nodding to him.
Strongpaw padded towards rainpath, " when are we doing battle training again" he insisted. Rainpath smiled " we can at sunrise tommorow" he paused for a moment and gestured towards wildpaw,wheatstalk and nightwhisper with his tail. " this is wildpaw, wheatstalk, and nightwhisper. This is Strongpaw im his mentor" he purred.

Nightshadow smiled.
"I'm glad that you're well." he purred. "Training an apprentice, eh?" he said, remembering the last apprentice he had, Snowpaw. She had become pregnant with kits and unable to continue her training. Before anyone found out, she had ran away. "Im sure you're a great mentor, Rainpath." he thought for a moment. "Strongpaw, Wildpaw, Wheatstalk, Rainpath, would you all like to go hunting?" he stretched. "It's such a nice day!" his eyes pleaded for Wheatstalk to go. Nightshadow wanted Wheatstalk to love Wildpaw the same way he did, but she needed to spend time with Wildpaw to see her kit's true self- a sweet, loving, but powerful, apprentice. The thing was that Wheatstalk saw powers as a bad thing when they could be a very good thing indeed, considering that that was the only way Nightshadow and Wheatstalk could meet- in the shadows, through Nightshadow's powers.

Rainpath glanced over at Strongpaw who could barely stan the anticipation of waiting for rainpath to say yes. "Of course we will come" rainpah said. Strongpaw lashed his tail back and forth with Excitment.

Nightshadow looked nervously to Wheatstalk. He prayed to StarClan that she would come with them and give their daughter a chance.

"Hello." Wildpaw said, averting her eyes. She'd never met him before, but with a name like Strongpaw, he had to be somewhat cocky. Wildpaw tried to avoid him.
