Jane nodded, following after her swiftly.

"We're back!" Kate called happily as she neared the camp. People were clustered around various small fires, and in the centre one larger fire burned proudly. Many people were seated around this particular fire, laughing as they shared their meagre amounts of food.

"Everyone appears so...calm...and...kind...." Jane murmured. "Nothing at all like home."

Kate glanced at her curiously. "What do you mean?"

"Well, at my home for example, mealtimes were always strict as to whom sat where and speaking was limited to those who had something to say," Jane answered informatively.

"That's ridiculous! Why would you do that?" the redhead inquired, moving closer to camp.

"That is how the upper class works." Jane shrugged lightly. "It is what I was raised to know."

Kate frowned. "Well, where I was from, we only had two rooms in the whole house, so we sort of had to talk, y'know?" "Hey, Kate! You're late!" a voice called, and Kate grinned as a man waved them over. "No I'm not!" she called back. "I ain't seein' Jacob either, Tommy, so shut it, yeah?" The old way of speaking came so easily, like she couldn't believe.

Jane didn't bother answering. Their ways of life were both so different; Jane was uncomfortable in such a familiar surrounding, having only ever had the companionship of her sister and their tutors.

"C'mon, Janey," Kate grinned, patting beside her on the log. "I'll go find Marion. Rowan's out with Peter and Oliver, but..." "Tch. That woman's practically a man," Thomas said.

Jane walked over to sit beside Kate, gracefully falling to a leisurely mealtime position. She folded her hands in her lap and her legs at the ankle, sitting with a straight back as she waited for further direction.
ooc: I have to go; night ~

"Relax," Kate giggled, passing her a bowl of stew.

ooc;; What's it about? Because that guy looks like Caspian, and I SHIP PETER/CASPIAN TO DEATH OH GOD WHYYYY STUPID MOVIE (even my SISTER, who thinks I'm RETARDED, agrees with me).
bic;; "No it ain't," said the blind man, Jeffry, from before. "I can feel yer tension from here, miss, pardon me sayin' so." Kate smiled.

ooc: ...... I'm not even going to ask.
I'm not sure entirely. My boyfriend really likes it and I'm just starting to get into it. We're going to cosplay them eventually, Richard and Kahlan x3
bic: Jane looked rather taken aback, and a little confused. "This is...relaxed to me...I know of nothing else that could be considered as such."
