{All characters are strictly fictional - any allusions to real-life monarchs has probably been intentional, but they're dead, so it doesn't matter. Hahaha! Deliberate repeats in names are deliberate.}The year is 1525, and the country, England. The Worcester Dynasty has stretched on for nearly two-hundred eyes, passed down to the eldest child of each generation, as is tradition. A single bracelet of pure silver is all that distinguished the King's heir (Charles, Duke of Somerset) from his identical twin brother (Brandon, Duke of Richmond) at birth - something that has been disputed multiple times over the years. But while Brandon may be content to sit back and let his brother do the ruling when the time comes, King James V's adviser, Richard Moore, is not. Moore's main ambition is to dispose of the two brothers altogether, and, with the help of his daughters, Catherine and Jane Moore, he intends to do just that, using them as pawns in his ultimate goal to control the court through powerful marriages and plays. Along with their two cousins, Robert and Mary Bullen, sent to watch after them, Catherine and Jane enter the court, and with it, they find themselves whisked into a world they could not have ever comprehended. From the suave and seductive Henry Cecil to the shy songwriter and poet Thomas Howard, and between the flirtatious Lady Margaret Howard to the deceptive Duchess Catherine Mills, the girls risk losing more than just their hearts - they're risking their very lives.

ooc;; It's supposed to. 1525 was the height of Henry VIII's reign, and I've mirrored some real historical characters.

ooc;; Ah, but you see, that's why I didn't use the real characters, like I was going to - we can do whatever we want now. Character allowance? Explain? I'm retarded.

ooc: Nah, that just makes things difficult Dx Unless you really want to. It doesn't matter to me. I also have no idea who else I want to play. Maybe Thomas Howard if that's okay?

ooc;; I'll leave it open to anyone who might want to join, but I'll not advertise to anyone - sound good? Thomas' a sweetie ^^ Sure thing.
So you have either Catherine or Jane Moore (or both, if you'd prefer, unless you want me to roleplay one of them) and Thomas Howard. I have Henry Cecil, Robert Bullen, Catherine Mills, and Brandon Worcester. I'm fine with playing more, if that's what you want me to do - I just want to make sure you have everyone you want to be (:

ooc: Sure, that sounds good That sounds okay for now. Maybe I can play Catherine? That way you don't play two Catherines? I could play both sisters though too if that makes things easier. Also, I think for now, I just want to be a smaller amount due to the fact that I'm not sure how this role play will go, you know? I don't want to take too many important people and then completely screw up :#S

ooc;; Awesome ^^
Catherine Moore? Sure. Well, in the nobility, lots of people had matching names - Catherine and Thomas were extremely popular. Sure.

ooc;; ^^ Doesn't matter. Okay, so you're the Moore sisters and Thomas Howard? You can also have, like, servants and stuff - these are just the plot people.
