Unsurprisingly, with how much Charlotte loved to whisper and mouth words, the female Lécuyer could lip read. She battled internally for a moment on whether or not to reveal to Robin what Charon had said. At long last, she decided against it. The two were clearly good friends and Charon would tell Robin what he'd told Sebastian if he felt it necessary.

Charon smirked. "Can't say much for your intelligence, I suppose. I believe the term is 'adieu'," he replied with a condescending tone. "Please, if you're trying to state your pseudo-superiority by using phrases from other languages, do pronounce them right."

"My oh my, we've got an Einstein." Sebastin clapped his handsm "Now tell me, what is two plus two?" Perla rushed and tried pulling Sebastin away. When Sebastin left, Perla turned to Charon, "I'm sorry Charon. He's off.. lately. I started it." Perla clapped her hands together and bowed her head.

"He's an asshole," Robin said simply, and was pleasantly surprised when Charon didn't rebuke him for once. "I hate guys like that. Think they're on top of the world. Think they're bloody invincible."
Charon didn't respond.

Elsewhere, Derek carefully tested the strength of the ropes whilst mentally calculating the accuracy of his ploy, how much trouble he could possibly get into if it succeeded, and the exact failure rate. "Eighty-nine percent accurate," He muttered lowly to himself, hardly noticing the small group of first years passing by and gawking at his odd contraption. "Ninety-five percent trouble, but only sixty percent successful." He finally stepped aside to inspect the entirety of this... thing. "I'd say that's perfect. Now where to hide it?"
"Ummm, mister?"
"Whittemore," Derek answered.
"What... is that?" The first year pointed at The Thing. Now with two capital 'T's for importance.
Derek grinned vibrantly. "Why, it's a trap." He clapped the first year on his back and nudged him off. "You'd best stand back. It's only got a sixty percent success rate."
The first year visibly panicked. "What's that supposed to mean? What kind of trap is it? What's it for?"
"Don't ask questions you don't want to get in trouble for." Derek advised charmingly.
Ah~ how he loved challenging his own intelligence.
OOC: I've decided to make a "Whittemore" in Ravenclaw and a first year somewhere. What house is most likely to have the characteristic of "panicking easily?"

"I have to go check on Sebastin.." Perla remarked sadly. "Catcha later..?" Perla scurried off to find Sebastin, which was not a challenge since the moron hid in the Slytherin Common room.
"What was that?"
"What?"
"Going after Robin and Char?"
"They teased you.."
Perla was struck with surprise with her brothers affection. She narrowed her eyes.
"You never gave a rat's ass about me. For my power.."
Sebastin exhaled, "You're the only family I have left."
"Yes, but disrepecting Robin and Char. That was the wrong approach."
"But i-"
"Stay away."
With that, Perla turned to go see Headmaster Mordecai.
