"Must've been some pretty suicidal Slytherins," Derek commented around the toast. Belatedly, Charlotte noticed her wondrous and very much missing bread. She waggled a fork mock-angrily at her brother, even as she spoke lightheartedly to Rosell.
"You're very passionate about this, Rosell. Why don't you expression your unending Slytherin loyalty and Obliviate yourself for 'fraternizing with Gryffindors,' as you say?"

bic;; Rosell sniffed daintily. "I'm not fraternizing - I'm merely telling you to get the hell out, as our Head Boy should be doing. No true Slytherin is friends with Gryffindors. They're more useless than Hufflepuffs, and twice as annoyingly 'noble.'"
Robin's eyes narrowed, but just as he opened his mouth to speak, Charon cut him off with a freezing glare that was quickly directed at Rosell.
"Draco Malfoy. You know him, right?"
Rosell sniffed. "Everyone knows about the Malfoys. They were some of the greatest Slytherins to passed through Hogwarts. Never associated themselves with the likes of Gryffindors."
Charon's eyes glinted with a predatory light. "You pride yourself on your knowledge?"
"Of course!"
"Then how could you not know that the Malfoy heir and Potter were lovers?"

Charlotte smoothly stifled a giggle at Charon's retort and Rosell's expression by stuffing her mouth with the remaining toast. Derek, equally as smooth and if not more so, winked wickedly at his fellow Gryffindor and the male Slytherin before downing some pumpkin juice.

Kristen was sitting in the court yard reading when Ryder came towards her and sat down. "Listen i'm sorry about yesterday" he said in a hushed tone. "It's fine" she said not nicely, but not completly rude. "Good" he said and then smiled and walked offf.

bic;; Robin blinked at Charon, bleeding the tension out of his body as he watched his Slytherin friend's expression, taking in the calculating smirk as Rosell's face drained of colour and she gasped and spluttered like a fish out of water.
"... Because it was just a rumour," she croaked finally, eyes snapping. Charon raised a delicate eyebrow, and Robin chewed his lip.
Everything about Charon's experience was deceiving, save his eyes. His body was thin and frail-looking, his skin an unhealthy pale, like an albino, but lacking the white hair and red eyes. In fact, Charon's hair was darker than night, matching his eyes, which were always sharp, like that of an owl or a bird.
His eyes always gave him away, one way or another, but they were the most fascinating, frightening, and threatening thing about him.

"If it were a rumor," Derek inspected his pumpkin juice carefully, suspecting it of foul play in some way, "As you say, then why have the Malfoys not sent their newest heir or heiress to Hogwarts?" Derek glanced up, face devoid of emotion except for a dull realization, "Oh, that's right. Because they don't have one." He couldn't help but let his amusement leak onto his features. "Because men don't reproduce."
"Please, brother." Charlotte intervened. "It's not nice to tell people how babies are produced."

The only Mpreg I will ever write is a crack one-shot I'm working on right now: It was said by many that Hong Kong was the love child of England and China; however, there has never been any proof. Well, until Prussia got drunk at a party and unintentionally revealed what really happened. Implied England/China, Prussia/Austria, multiple others.
