ooc: I wonder if I ever gave Charlie and Blake last names......... I#:
bic: "Oi, another ship in this port? How many more are going to come in?" "Caviesse, you may want to slow down the words of dismay." The woman by the name of Caviesse with her devilish appearance whirled around, giving the black-haired baron a look of pure astonishment. "What? Me? Words of Dismay? Never." Baron LaBeau shook his head, returning his attention to where Evaren stood at the helm. "How much longer are Ternisle and his whore gonna be?!" LaBeau frowned deeply. "Tenaiya is not his whore, Evaren. If that were so, she would be parading around town in a dress instead of remaining aboard as almost First Mate." Evaren pouted. "Bilge Rat." LaBeau exhaled, starting for the gang plank. "You going ashore?" Came a voice from aloft. The black haired baron looked up, catching sight of a blonde with an eyepatch. "Perhaps, Nuri. We should be setting sail soon." "Who died and made you Captain?" demanded Caviesse, though her attention was on the other ship, once more. LaBeau just exhaled. This was proving to be a long day.

"Aiyah, they're still watching us!" Came the agitated call from up in the Crow's Nest. Yao removed the telescope from his eye, frowning lightly as Jean-Francois looked up. "Are they now?" The Frenchmen said, sounding amused. "Wonder what they're seeing." "Shut up, Jean." "You wound me, petite lapin." "What did I say about calling me that?!"
:.:.:
Elizabeth followed Ashley as the man moved back to their house, the strangely white building sticking out among the browner ones.

"Those idiots aware that you're watching, yet?" Evaren asked monotonously as she leaned against the wheel, turning it idly as if they were moving - which they weren't. Caviesse nodded. "Aye." "Bout damn time." "Can we leave yet?!" "No, not yet, Nuri." Nuri grumbled as he dangled his legs over the cross mast. "There's Konar," Caviesse pointed out then. The red head and his monkey boarded the ship casually. "Where're the others?" Evaren demanded. "Ashore." "Captain Foriden and Tenaiya?" "Tavern." "Charlie and Blake?" "Wandering the streets." Evaren scowled. "Stragglers. We should leave without them." "And risk being hung?" LaBeau shook his head. "My dear girl, we cannot get away with this vessel. It only listens to Foriden." "You make it sound like a living, breathing....thing!" "Indeed." Evaren pouted. "Know-it-all."

"We're stopping here," Charlie announced, entering the apothecary to browse the product. Blake remained on the street, folding her arms across her small chest. She was often accused of being a man in women's attire, which did not please her, nor the rest of the crew.

Nikolai looked up as more people entered, removing his glasses before standing once again. Ivan had left out the back, likely hiding from Natalia, who was, at this current moment, glaring balefully at the pirates that had stepped in, ice-blue eyes focusing briefly before she tilted her chin and went back to staring idly at the knife she had been holding, a creepy smile on her face. Nikolai inclined his head to the visitors. "Is there anything I can help you with?" His accent wasn't nearly as think as Ivan's (and Natalia's, when she spoke something besides "Let's get married, Ivan! Married, married, married!"), but it was there.

Charlie inclined his head just a tad. "We're just browsing." It was then that he realized he was alone, and shooting a glance to the street indicated that his sister had wandered off on her own terms, once more. With a sigh of exasperation, he returned to the merchandise. Despite his pirate lifestyle, Charlie was one very fond of manners and etiquette. Both he and his sister had been raised in England, however Blake had been stolen at a much younger age, hence her lack thereof.

Nikolai nodded, watching Natalia out of the corner of his eye, just to make sure she didn't do anything. Ivan wasn't going to come in while she was here, which irritated Nikolai to no end, but he couldn't do much about it, and decided to leave it be. "Ah, Mr. Emmerich, I was wondering when you'd come in - your wife left some stuff here that she meant to pick up," Nikolai said as Ashley sent him a withering glare. "We're divorced, Alekseev, and it's hardly her fault." The meaning was clear as the violet-eyed man peered lightly over the rim of his glasses. "May I have it?" "Of course," Nikolai said hospitably. "I just figured you wouldn't be leaving your house with all these pirates around, is all." Ashley's eyes narrowed, but he said nothing.

"And what might be so wrong about all us pirates? Is this town not overrun by our class already?" Charlie inquired curtly, his accent bold and all but drowning out his words. He faced the men now, assuming a stance of a dignitary or politician; the breeding of his youth being that of a upper upperclassman.

"Putting it simply, if it were not for Ivan, a lot of the people here would be waltzing in and pulling things off the shelf without paying," Nikolai said simply. "If you really want me to, I can prepare a list," Ashley responded for himself, his tone mimicking Charlie's as he turned disinterested violet eyes towards him - a facade the aristocrat had built up over years of practice. "It would be an easy thing to do, though hardly worth my effort." "Married, married, married," Natalia chanted from the corner.

Charlie's eyes narrowed and with a swift motion, had turned to leave. "All finished?" Charlie shot a glare at his younger sister, her accent not nearly as strong as his own. "Blake, what have I told you about wandering off?" A snort could be heard from the long, brown-haired woman. "Pardon me for point out that I am twenty-years-old, AND can take care of myself." "Taking care of yourself is what got you into that mess with the man who had formerly courted you." Charlie's tone dropped several decibels as he added, "right up until the day his ship sank below the waves of the Mediterranean Sea. Now, do you want to end up in that sort of mess again?" Blake returned her brother's look of ferocity. "Once again, allow me to point out that I am of age to take care of myself, and have been for far longer than you have been a pirate, Charlie! Now stop harassing me and let's find where the Captain and his woman went off to." Charlie just grumbled his complaints at his sister's behavior, waving her off as he started down the cobblestone roadway. Blake stood there, watching him walk for a few moments, before glancing in the shop. She wasn't generally one to be interested in anything an apothecary would sell, but at this current moment, something about the merchandise intrigued her. Without a word to her brother, she strode inside, surveying the structure as if it, the building itself, were for sale.

Ashley watched through narrowed eyes, but Nikolai just shrugged lightly. He figured that it they needed him they could call him, so he went back to jotting things down in his book after instructing Natalia in Russian to keep an eye on the pirate. The Russian girl focused her attention on the pirate girl, placing the knife back in her lap. "Alekseev?" "Ah, right - the package is resting on the table by the dry ingredients," Nikolai said dismissively as Ashley nodded minutely and moved to grab what he needed. "More pirates, comrade," a heavily accented Russian voice proclaimed as Ivan stepped into the room. "Another ship has landed, da?" Nikolai frowned. "Another one? This town is going to turn into a second Tortuga if we're not careful." "It's hardly our fault," Ashley said. "Perhaps not," Nikolai responded. "But your house is the first thing they're going to take over if they need more room. Not even your Ninja Maid ex-wife will be able to protect the house if the pirates REALLY want it. What would you do without your piano then, Ashley?" Ah, yes, despite frequent verbal battles, Ashley and Nikolai knew each other enough to be considered friends, or at least civil acquaintances. "They won't touch my piano!" Ashley said fiercely, the aristocratic mask evaporating as his elegant features contorted in a defiant scowl, violet eyes flashing. Nikolai blinked. "Calm down, comrade," Ivan said, placing a hand on Ashley's shoulder before going to the opposite side of the room, away from Natalia, who was chanting something under her breath.

Blake watched them go, smirking with light disdain. "There are plenty who would want a great deal with a piano, Ashley," she muttered upon hearing his name being spoken. With one final look around, she wandered back out into the streets, finding nothing more of interest in the apothecary, and began after her brother's former trail.
"There!" Amelia snapped her attention to directly in front of her, catching sight of the brunette woman who took the part of lookout in the crew, frowning just a little. "What the hell is Blake doing on her own?" "Maybe she got annoyed with everyone's constant possessive nature over her?" "Shut up, Merrina!" Amelia snapped, quickening her pace. Merrina Vegatorre just shook her head, starting after her crewmate quietly. "Charlie has her under ropes enough as it is, Meli." "Foriden doesn't want her disappearing." "And why the hell would that be?! He's got Tenaiya; what else does that bastard want?" Amelia rounded on her. "Do not speak of your Captain in such a fashion, Merinna!" The woman of twenty-two shook her head. "I'm just saying." Amelia grunted as she started off toward Blake once again.

Something akin to a possessive growl escaped Ashley's throat, but he swallowed it, his eyes cooling off as his posture straightened. "Again, they won't touch my piano," Ashley said civilly as Nikolai wordlessly handed him the bag, knowing enough not to say anything further. Ashley was known for only being really passionate about one thing - his piano. Of course, lord knew what he was like in the bedroom, as Elizabeth certainly wasn't talking, and they were married, but after watching the seemingly-composed pianist punch something in the face for asking, followed by a brutal beating from Elizabeth with that frying pan of hers, well... It just wasn't worth the pain.
ooc;; DDDD: NOoooo! I was having fun! Ah, but you're not feeling well. Okay, well, I'll also reply again tomorrow! Night!

"Don't be so sure," announced a new voice as a young man entered the apothecary. He was tall with blonde hair and brown eyes, looking rather cheerful yet out of place for a pirate, which he most indefinitely was. "Blake, the woman who was just in here, has had her eye out for one since joining our crew...or maybe longer. She had learned when she was a child before the pirateers took her." He shrugged as he continued to scan the merchandise, meddling with this and that.
The three women entered the tavern, Blake stationed in the center as the other two guided her inside. She looked rather unimpressed, but why wouldn't she? She was considered the baby of the crew, not the youngest but seemingly the most fragile after the disappearance of her former lover and Captain of the Pride, and many members chose to keep her under reigns and escorts at every waking moment. It wasn't often that she was posted in the least dangerous position on the ship. Rumour had it that the Captain had taken her under his wing, even adopting the title of sister, despite Charlie's fury at this. Foriden was never one to care of such things. "There you are," Tenaiya could be heard, still sitting by the bar. Foriden watched the three approach, still poised at Tenaiya's side. "She was out on her own again," Amelia announced, shaking her head. "But I'm fine," Blake protested. Merinna just shook her head. "You know the rules," Foriden murmured, his voice rich and deep.

Ashley tilted his chin up like he had been instructed to do at a young age. "As have I - even longer than she, I'll willing to bet. That piano isn't going anywhere without me, and vice versa!" "Ashley?" Elizabeth said as she walked in. "You were taking a long time..." The frying pan was clutched tightly in her hand, and her eyes darted threateningly over the people in the store. "I heard you talking about your piano." Ashley nodded curtly as Elizabeth moved quickly to his side, the frying pan held aloft.
