-pouts- Why do I have to start? xD
nic;; Blake frowned. No, she scowled. She was sitting aloft on one of the masts, trying to do her job tying the sales, but with the rest of the male variation aboard, she was having a hard time concentrating. It wasn't that she was attracted to them, nay, it was the complete opposite. These pirates had been trying to get in her pants since she boarded the Storm Breaker. And she had received countless lashings many a time for not abiding to the Captain's own desires. She was the only woman aboard, and apparently, the whores in the various cities they visited, weren't enough to satisfy their testosterone levels. She knew that she would be traded, very soon. "Blake! Get down 'ere!" Blake exhaled, pushing her long curly locks over her shoulder. Why did she always get in trouble? The acrobat she was, Blake grabbed hold of a rope beside her, launching herself off the cross-mast, sliding down the rope to land perfectly on deck before the Captain. "What is it?" "We're trading ye," he announced. "The other pirates can have a turn at dealing with ye antics!" Blake scowled again. "Just because I won't do anything, doesn't mean I should be traded. I've done my fair share!" "I hate going back on me word. Me mind is made up." Blake blew the bangs from her face, going over to the deck railing to look out over the ocean. There was land abroad, and she knew, her fate on this ship, was soon coming to an end.
"And don't try coming back aboard!" The female pirate glared up at the men who had quite literally thrown her overboard as they reached port. This wasn't the normal way to trade a pirate, but when the Captain suddenly decides to make you walk the plank, you don't have much choice in the matter. So, she turned and swam to shore, climbing out onto the beach with a deadly visage. Oh would there be hell to pay.

Leif Ó Nualláin, preferred heir to the Ó Nualláin linage, whistled a merry tune. He expertly twirled the helm a bit to the left, watching as his crew secured the ship to the dock. Technically, his ship remained unnamed. But no more would it be a nameless vessel! Of this, Leif was certain. “Alright, my lovely little loyal crew,” Leif announced, “Our nameless vessel shall obtain a name today by noon. Until then, feel free to roam this tiny isle in search for lore of treasure and curses: we shan’t simply stop at two hundred adventures. We strive for a thousand! Look for Lady Nightmare upon your return.” Leif waved them off with a violin bow, “Dismissed!” As one, the crew saluted, and then promptly scrambled off. They did not want to be in the vicinity of the ship as the name was painted on its side. If her naming went well, Leif’s father would only chop off a few hands. If it went horribly, all witnesses would suddenly go missing. It wasn’t that Leif’s father didn’t want the ship named. Rather, the only name he seemed willing to permit was “The Virgin Angel.” He and Leif, considering the ship was technically Leif’s, had battled over the name on and off for the entirety of its existence. But now, it seemed, Leif was done battling. He would have his lovely fear-striking name and that was that.

ooc;; xD Alrighty then
bic;; Blake slipped into the local pub, examining the strange faces throughout. None who looked like pirates, that was sure. She frowned. This would be a difficult task. She left, ringing her hair of salty sea water, and shuddering just slightly when the wind swept past her and all her soaked respite. If she didn't find a ship to board, what would there be left for her to do? She narrowed her eyes. She would NOT become a whore.

OOC: If I'm slow to respond, it's cause I'm looking for pirate pictures to make more pirate characters. Can't keep calling Leif's crew the "crew" and having nameless pirates wandering about.
BIC: “Left,” Leif called idly, leaning against a random wooden crate. “Are you sure sir?” The painter called down. Leif wasn’t even looking. “My dear fellow, if I wasn’t sure,” Leif inspected his violin bow boredly, “I would have your head to be sure.” “Uhh… okay?” The painter answered unsurely. What did he mean “have his head?” Was he going to kill him after he finished painting the name? Oh, just his luck! Death by painting names on the side of ships! “The Lady Nightmare, sir?” He double checked. Leif glanced up at the side of the ship, still blank, and narrowed his eyes underneath his fancy feathered pirate hat. “I don’t see the name.” “Just checking, sir, getting right on it, sir!” He chattered wildly. Despite his anxiety, his hand steadily painted away the letters: each one elegant, smooth, and flowing into the next. Leif relaxed against the craft once more. He needed more crewmembers, now that he thought about it. Perhaps he would hire the painter? Ah, but what would a painter do aboard a pirate ship? Paint the captives – useless.

"Now that is a sight to behold," Blake muttered to herself, admiring the vast collection of ships at port. "One of these days I will own one of them...." She shook her head, laughing at her own naivety, and proceeded down to the dock to take a look.
ooc;; I have to make Charlie, Blake's brother too o.o

OOC: "Blake's brother too" – I find this ironic because I was just thinking of making Leif a brother! (Ya' know how his family is big and he'd kill all of them but two? Well I know who one of his family members is that he likes, but I still have to make the other.)
BIC: Leif’s autumn orange orbs flicked up from under his hat at the sound of booted footsteps. Slyly, he glanced down the dock to see a pirate ambling along and gawking at the ships. Well, there was no guessing what this one was thinking: one day I’ll own my own ship. Leif vaguely recalled previously having a pirate aboard his ship with the same idea. Eventually, Leif got him a ship – only for the pirate to sink it. ‘I definitely will avoid such a grievous error in the future,’ Leif thought. “Oi!” Leif called, making the painter jump from his precarious perch in the air, “Pirate! Need a ship?”

Blake narrowed her eyes guardedly as she spun around, one hand on her now offset hips. "Are you speaking to me?"
ooc;; in the roleplay I had done with me other friend, Charlie married a noblewoman they had 'rescued' from a shipwreck. They then had a daughter, and Jack and Blake had a son, and when Cassandra (the daughter) turned eighteen, she made Travis (J&B's son) drunk so he could give her a kid. Yep. It was messed.

OOC: 0.0 Oh, wow, that is messed up.
BIC: Leif coyly glanced around the dock, raising his hat up just a notch. “Well, seeing as I’ve yet to spot another pirate in the vicinity. Yes, it would appear as thought I speak to ye.” Leif made a vague gesture with his violin bow. “Now, either you hunt for a new pirating job, or you hunt for a ship.”
OOC: Brb~
