Daemon blinked with surprise and somewhat confusion when she did this, but didn't pull away. He felt a faint tug inside him, pushing him to return the embrace. He did so, though his mind struggled to remember why. He had a touch of amnesia from the encounter in the dark abyss.

Daemon just sighed, stroking her hair with comforting motions. Did he love her? Maybe once? He wasn't sure. For now, he just held her, allowing her to release her emotions. He could comfort her.

Daemon thought about his reply. He could be truthful, and tell her that he really had no idea who she was, or, he could lie and say everything was fine. His heart told him to go with the latter, but his mind voted for the former. A sigh escaped his lips, still unsure of what to say.
"Yes."
It wasn't a complete lie. He was, after all, physically and mentally stable, so that counted, right?

Rosie let him go and looked him longly in his eyes. No he wasn't. "I have to go.." Rosie turned around to proceed to leave Hirrak.

Daemon contemplated what she told him. I have to...stay? Why? His eyes then narrowed. She probably knows where I will find my purpose. "I'm coming with you."

He's just...not remembered everything yet. It'll take something dramatic for that...not betrayal or anything, cause that'll kill everything. I'm getting bored of the back and forthing :/

Daemon glanced around at his surroundings, small flickers of memory returning, piece-by-piece. One contained the horrifying memory of when Rosie decided to follow him there, stay there with him despite her hatred for him. He remembered the emotion he had felt then, and it made him choke on his own saliva. "And...you...what are you to me!"
